I've had hundreds and hundreds of orders to Amazon over the years, but this may be the very best. This chair is everything that I could have hoped for and more. The quality is great! I looked over many chairs but the Serta name got me. The fabric is beautiful, which really shows off the style of the chair. The casters roll as smooth as any I've ever had. What I like most though is that unlike many office chairs that are usually far too wide and bulky this one has a more narrow width which makes it more comfortable. Assembly is a breeze with its really well described instruction sheet. I'm astonished that the price was far more reasonable than I would have expected for this quality chair. Ordered and built four of these for work. Went together quickly and easily. Seat is also sturdy and very stable for a big guy like me (6’4”, 250lbs.). Fabric is nice, but I wish it would have been a little thicker, but it’s still very comfy. Depending on your size, how much you squirm and whether or not your puppy is going through a chewing phase, your fabric’s longevity may vary- although that last puppy part may be just a me problem. For the price, value is very good and should last a couple of years before replacement is needed, but again, your mileage may vary. For the good price, this chair is a good value. ... show more

I ordered this chair because my old chair was falling apart and was causing me pain. I find this new chair really comfortable and it has helped relieve a lot of the pain I feel. My only real gripes are that is was a little bit difficult for me to assemble, the armrest do not adjust, and the back does not allow for tilting. However, I can easily sit crisscross if wanted and while the armrest don't adjust, they do work fine for me. THE BEST DESK CHAIR I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR. Very comfortable, cloth fabric is comfortable. Great back support. This chair is so good, I bought two more for family members. It is pricey but was worth every penny.

    • Most comfortable office chair I've ever owned!

This office chair is super comfortable. For me, the lumbar support is exactly where it should be against my lower back. I'm able to sit on the cushion seat for several hours without any stiffness or soreness, unlike previous chairs that I've owned. I would've given it a straight-up "5" across the board but it's not the easiest chair to assemble. Nothing comes pre-assembled and several of the screw-in bolts were extremely difficult to screw in. But the chair is well-worth that little bit of difficulty. After a month of use, I'm revising my review of this chair because every day I have to adjust the height, sometimes more than once. Apparently the set screw was set too tight at the factory and the chair rises all by itself without use of the lever. I researched the problem and found that getting to the set screw would pretty much require taking the chair completely apart. The chair is still very comfortable, but it's pretty annoying that I have to lower the chair repeatedly throughout the day. ... show more

    • Absolutely the WORST purchase I have ever made
Looks good in the pictures and day one was mildly comfortable. DO NOT BUY this if you plan to use it. DO NOT BUY this if you are working from home. I honestly have not been this disappointed in a purchase from amazon ever. $171 dollars out the window. I cannot come up with the words to describe how pathetic and junky this product is. It is very obvious the manufacturer had every intention of ripping of the customer. Why so disappointed? I purchased this product on June 15, 2020 to replace an old chair because I started working from home due to COVID. Within weeks the seat pad is down to nothing and I had to buy a Amazon memory foam pad to help out my rear. It would hurt after sitting for more then a couple hours, worse then sitting on a metal chair. Next the material on the arms is too rough and textured, I find my self with irritated elbows by the end of the day. Then it began making all kinds of noises here recently, squeaking and creaking noises. And now finally the chair height is lowering and now longer holds its position. I weigh 195 pounds NOT 500. Today, November 11, 2020 I am chairing shopping again. Total garbage product. PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!! ... show more

    • Not a worthwhile value at even half the price
The chair started to be noisy about six days after assembly. Every small shift in body weight leads to another sound. It is annoying enough that this shortcoming alone would make it rank among the worst office chairs I've used. The bottom seat cushion is not as comfortable as I had hoped. It is acceptable for an hour of use, but for longer usage it is not as good as other chairs I've used. It also feels like the left side is slightly higher than the right. I've not gotten out a level to verify this, but if so it would match up with what another reviewer noted. The back is reasonably comfortable. The arms are okay. The fabric is decent. I bought this chair in part because I did not want one with bonded leather, and most of those available in nearby stores used that cheap material. This chair did not live up to the overall rating on this site, and I do not see the replacement for this chair being a Serta. ... show more
