These shears are excellent for all purpose kitchen use. Besides spatchcocking chickens and gutting/trimming fish you will find yourself reaching for these versatile shears constantly. A bit small for turkeys but they get the job done. Wish I had bought sooner. They are sharp and comfortable in the hand. Cleanup is an absolute breeze in the dishwasher since they come apart. These are terrific, well designed and not overly expensive, especially on sale!

These scissors are the best! A bit stiff at first, but they're really sharp and sturdy, perfect for all uses around the house and kitchen. One thing to note though, is that they do come apart when opened all the way (by design), which is good for cleaning them, but can take some getting used to.

Well constructed and sharp. Comfortable hand grip I have been easily slicing through chick, fish, crab and lobster shells. No issues so far but they are new. Time will tell on duration of sharpness and durability overall, but the shears feel weighty and of substance. So far very happy with this product.

Decent scissors, especially for the price. First of all, they are made in China, not USA as the product description currently states. They are very tightly clamped, which is generally a good thing, but it does make for more effort when cutting. Our previous scissors were not tight and developed a gap so everything just folded between the blades and wouldn’t cut. The biggest downside for us is they have a very sharp pointed tip and the scissors sit very low in our knife block and end up extending through it and scratching our countertop. This may not be an issue for many people though, depending on how you store them. They are also not as comfortable to hold as our old OXO shears.

I've been eyeing these shears for a while, and they had been out of stock for almost half a year in 2022. The main reason for me wanting these shears was that I needed to find the best shears for cutting meats. Especially for KBBQ, I have specific preference for these type of scissors. From my experience, I'd say these scissors are a bit on the heavier side compared to your ordinary kitchen shears. It will also take more strength to cut (open and close motion) anything. It's because the shears seem to be more tightly assembled and I prefer my shears that way over getting lose and not cutting anything. Overall, here's my observation: - It will handle any semi to fully cooked meats easily. Cuts them like butter. - For raw meats of any kind, it cuts like I was using a nice sharpened blade. - For softer marrows, ligaments, tendons - it did a fine job better than a sharpened blade (since scissor motion is more effective than one way cutting) as long as the meat stays in place (these meat parts are slippery and slides everywhere). - But for bones, I didn't bother trying. I really like these shears and don't want to risk weakening its sharpness. I hope this helps.

When they came, I was skeptical that they would be easy to use, given that they were a little "stiff" and have weird ambidextrous handles. I got them because I live with a lefties and wanted something we can both use! Happy to report, they work amazingly well! And they come apart like a snap for easy cleaning. I love them!
