AMEND INITIAL REVIEW Once I was finally able to contact someone for questions I had about the functioning of this litterbox, I was able to relax and appreciate what a great litterbox this is. I'm going to list some suggestions and/or answers to questions that I had which would have been a more pleasant introduction to this very attractive and technologically sound litterbox had I known how to get support. If you need support, open your Amazon page, click on orders, then find the litter box and to the right, click on GET PRODUCT SUPPORT and choose any of the options below the heading such as. get help, send seller feedback, or return or replace item. At first you will be "communicating" with a bot, but then your concerns, if not solved, will be forwarded to a real person. You might have to wait until the next day, but someone will respond to all of your questions, so make a list. For the most part, setup is easy if you follow the manual and/or videos others have posted. I had questions about how to fit the litter bag into the drawer and also attaching the deoderizers (it wasn't clear to me even after watching the setup videos on Amazon). I have posted a picture of how the bag should look after being inserted. When you take a bag off the roll it is very long and seems endless but there is a very light performation, separting one bag from the next. Tear carefully and then fit the bag into the drawer, it will seem way too large until you pull on the yellow draw strings carefully so it fits the drawer a little more snugly (you have to cut the draw strings in the middle since it is one long piece until separated) (see pix above) You can use the deoderizer in two ways or don't use it at all. Attach the hose where indicated and then you have to vent it out a window or other opening. If that's not possible, unscrew the hose end that fits into the box until it comes off, (this was not clear in the videos I saw) then attach it to the deoderizer that will release a fresh smell (very powerful at first, but it does lessen after a few days of the cats using the box). If it's too strong and you don't want to use it, the functions of the box will still work and there is very little odor. I have two cats and did not have to change the waste for 10 days since that was the point I started to smell a little odor. You can open the little door on the waste drawer and if you've left enough of the yellow draw strings to grab onto, you can actually pull the waste bag completely closed before you open the draw, eliminating most of the odor that is in the drawer. This will become clearer once you have emptied the first bag. I'm very happy with this litterbox and highly recommend it! I have friends who have paid substantially more than the cost of this box, and all agree they wish they had purchased this one instead. Hope you like yours as much as I do mine.

My two cats are almost 15 years old and they've been using the original litter robot for the majority of their lifetime. I was a little nervous about them being set in their ways and refusing the new box, but they actually seem to like this one even more. They had no issues transitioning whatsoever and we've been using this thing for a little while now with no issues. This litter box is fantastic in terms of odor control. Seriously, the litter robot is not even in the same league. No smell anywhere in the vicinity of where it sits in our house. The litter box itself is very well thought out and great quality at only a fraction of the cost of the litter robot. I was a little worried that it would be too small, but it's actually the perfect size without being too bulky. This box is very easy to put together and to take apart for cleaning and I have not experienced any issued with it. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this litter box.

Setup was easy but I'm still waiting for my 2 cats to use it since I set it up 3 days ago. I think it is disgraceful that you have to pay for text message notifications to be sent to you. There also seems to be no support as indicated in the product info. No phone or website. The app is just OK. It doesn't provide much info. I'm not sure if it lets you know when to empty waste bin and add new litter. I hope I did not make a mistake purchasing this. It does seem to waste a lot of litter when I did test runs. I'm using Cats Pride low track clumping litter. I will update this once they start using. I may be returning this product. UPDATE: After 2 weeks one of my cats used the box overnight and when I went to make sure they actually used the toilet, the drum was stuck half way through it's cycle. I think the cat may have gone back into the box in the middle of the clean cycle, but it should have started back up after the cat left again. For this reason, I have returned this item. I'm glad others found that it worked for them.

I've had it for a couple weeks now and feel like this has had almost no issues so far. Setting it up was easy thankfully my old litter box was by an electrical out let. As soon as it turned on the app prompted for me to connect to it. The app has had non issues so far and wired well for giving me health information about my baby girl. The weight is spot on and it helps me and my bad back from being over almost at all. The only time being changing the litter and emptying the bag. It works well with both my cats and the auto clean after use has worked perfect so far. It also fits both of them well but may possibly be high for very small kittens but even my elderly cat has no trouble with it. Very sturdy and easy to clean every part as needed. Super stable with no way so far for my cats to open it or knock it over even when zooming. Comes with clear instructions, extra bags, and filters. Super thoughtful and the cats are doing well for it. Great purchase overall and I'm glad i splurged out for something nice.

This has absolutely changed my life. After 20 years of owning cats and scooping litter and constantly having my basement smell like cat litter this comes around and changes everything. First of all the design is beautiful. It looks so sleek and modern (especially compared to a traditional eyesore litter box). It comes with everything you need and is fully assembled right out of the box. You just need to attach the hose and plug it in and you're good to go. It is very quiet and works very well. I have 3 cats and have been using this for about a week and it has constantly kept the litter box clean. Could not be happier with this purchase. Only wish I bought it years ago instead of wasting all the time scooping.
