Ive wanted a litter robot for a long time, but that price point was ridiculous. And once I found out that you cant take the barrel off and wash it, I was out. Then I found this! I find it quieter than the litter robot, cost is afforable, and elegant looking and the barrel comes off to clean! I was worried that my one cat wouldnt go in because she doesnt like closed litter boxes, but she took to it pretty quick since I removed the old ones. They are still fascinated by its cleaning mode and will go get each other to watch the cleaning cycle when they are done. I never knew I was getting kitty entertainment too! Here is my one con, and if they fix that I will definitely buy a new one. It is ridiculously hard to put litter in. I had to buy a giant scoop. Additionally spend time finding the "right" litter for your cats. I had been using Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal but I think that stays too moist for the box and I end up having to loosen the pee clumps to slide off the barrel. I am going to use Arm and Hammer SLIDE and see if that improves. Those are the ONLY reasons it did not get 5 stars.

Wow! Very happy with this prime day purchase!!! I have had two models of the Litter Robot. Second and third generation. This automatic box is at least half the size of the LR. It is almost silent (whereas the LR sounds like a small handheld vacuum). I have only had this new box for a week. My tries to connect it to WiFi have been unsuccessful. I have a fat kitty (about 13-15 lbs) and I have noticed the opening of the box is on the smaller side. She can use it, but it’s a tight squeeze for her. I like the litter catching mat that comes with it. It seems pretty straightforward and easy to clean. Especially since the globe comes off and can be rinsed out using the garden hose. Even though it’s somewhat small and I cannot connect it to WiFi, I like it overall better than the LR. It isn’t the eyesore that the LR is. It’s easy to hide behind furniture or a partition. It appears that you can use small- sized drawstring trash bags inside it also. I appreciate that it came with a bunch of bags, but that means when I run out I won’t have to get the ones made by the manufacturer. Bonus.
