This thing is the bomb diggity! I have been suffering from turf toe and saw someone talk about how great this was on YouTube. I really didn’t think it would be that much better for stretching my calves than what I normally use which is a foam block or roller but I was wrong. It really works to stretch the calf muscles and has helped me with the tightness and pain I’ve been experiencing. It has several different levels which you can raise or lower to adjust the height and get an adequate stretch. It’s definitely something that’s meant to be stationary. It’s made out of wood and is fairly heavy. It does fold down to the lowest setting but it’s not like you can really tuck it away. It’s a one trick pony so as long as you know this is what you need, it’s a great quality item with grippy tape that ensures you won’t slide around.

I bought this for physical therapy after dislocating my heel and a subtalar fracture from a motorcycle accident. After just a week, my dorsal flexion has improved dramatically. Painful days after doing yardwork are finally gone. I had been dealing with these painful downtimes for 18 months (I'm too stubborn to go to a physical therapist). Fantastic product, very solid, no concern that it will collapse under weight.
