The LikeBike Seeker S proved to be a reliable companion on our recent 16-mile bike excursion, even with the added challenge of towing our 5-year-old daughter. Assembly was a breeze, with straightforward instructions. However, one minor hiccup arose: the manual neglected to mention the need to hold the power button for 8 seconds to toggle the battery. Overall, the Seeker S delivered a smooth ride and handled the extra load admirably, making it a suitable choice for family outings. My wife really likes the shade of blue. One other challenge with the bike is from its form factor as its a "step thru" style frame This means there is no top tube and the slanted tube is the batter so there is nowhere to mount a water bottle that you can drink from while riding. I found a clamp on type works great for the stem to mount a water bottle though.

I'm getting up there in years and I truly thought my bike riding days might be over. I mean, the climbs seem to have gotten larger, and the distances seem to be farther... and my legs felt it all just a bit too much. But we (my wife and I both got one... you know how it is ;-) ) started to look at these electric bikes and finally settled on this one. It's an excellent choice! We're using it on the peddle assist mode (PAS) and it has made riding a bike the pure joy it used to be! I really like these Likebikes and I feel completely comfortable recommending them to you. If you've got some legs that are getting older or even if those climbs just seem tougher to you regardless of your age, get one of these and make riding a blast again!

Unboxed and assembled four hours ago. Assembly was fairly straightforward; though the instructions really leave it up to your imagination. Lost points there. I’ve never assembled a bike before, but I had it together in an hour and a half if I include the unboxing time. It comes fairly well assembled, and I could do another one in forty five minutes. My bike unfortunately arrived missing the top cap for the steering wheel, resulting in a loose headset, noticeable upon braking- the forks shift forward. I have contacted the manufacturer for a new one and look forward to hearing back from them soon. I put 8 miles on the bike following assembly. With a trailer behind and a toddler in tow, I messed around with the gear settings and PAS settings. Our 8 mile ride depleted about a quarter of the battery- with a great deal of uphill riding at the end of our journey. The PAS system was kept primarily between 3 and 5. I feel confident that as I become more intuitive with my gear shifting I’ll be able to extend that range quite a bit. I’m sure towing a toddler behind me also played a large role. Bicycle components overall seem pretty decent. Shimano shifter works well, no stripped screws or anything of the sort. The disc brakes do rub a bit and are going to need adjustment. As for the electrical components go- the screen is really nice. The motor has an enjoyable hum to it. The throttle is not all too powerful on its own, I would not rely on it. The PAS settings really shine on this though. I don’t feel forced by the bike at all when I use any of the settings. I was concerned initially that the bike may be a bit too forceful with the cadence sensor- but this has not been the case whatsoever. I’m very happy with this fact, as I wanted a bike with a torque sensor but did not have the budget for it. Overall, I couldn’t be much happier with this bike for the cost.

Assembly was straightforward and simple, but I encountered a problem with my battery pack—it won’t charge, so I can’t use the electric function of my bike. I reached out to the company via email, but they only suggested steps I had already tried, like ensuring the battery is fully charged and properly plugged in. When I asked about receiving a replacement battery or the process for a refund, I didn’t receive a response.

My daughters saved up money from pet sitting and house sitting over the summer to buy these bikes. Initially I was worried that they were so inexpensive but they appear to be very sturdy and well made. They are 5'6" and 5'3" and the bikes are a good size for them; I'm 6'4" and they are a little short for me when I went on a ride to test them out. The assembly instructions were not great, but I was able to figure them out well enough and it took about 45 minutes to assemble each bike. Our neighborhood is pretty hilly--honestly a little too hilly to ride a normal bike without a lot of effort--but these bikes make it a breeze. On the level 1 pedal assist, they go about 10-11mph without a ton of effort. I can't really comment on the range or the durability since we've only had them about a week but so far my kids love them and have been going on several bike rides a day for half an hour or longer... it's definitely better than them playing video games or watching videos on their phones!
