These are brand new cables less than a week old. I purchased two 3-pack 1-ft cables. Two out of the six will not work out of the bag. They will not connect to anything including my Apple MacBook Pro, Powerbanks (mophie, crave, imuto) or Apple chargers. There's no way these cables are MFi Certified. Taking a closer look at the lightning connector reveals missing contacts. See photos. The others break contact as soon as I move or touch my iPhone. I bought these to, for the most part, keep in my car and connect to my stereo. They worked great for my iPod Nano but I found when hooked to my iPhone 8 it easily wiggled loose and I couldn’t actually handle the phone while plugged in because it would just slip right out. After some trouble shooting I figured out it was the lint build up in my phone. After I got the lint out the cable worked fine Still weird since the standard lighting cord that came with the phone didn’t have the same issue, and neither did another 3rd party cord I keep at home. These cords must not fit exactly right into our iPhones like an original Apple cord would?? They sometimes will not charge the phone unless you wiggle it around and get it just right. And we’ve used them on several different iPhones so we know it’s not the phone itself. Would not order these again.

These seem to be fairly well put together unfortunately they are just more garbage sold on Amazon. 1 cable didn’t work out of the box. 1 cable stopped working 8 days after arriving. Last cable still sort of works if you wiggle it all over hell to connect then don’t breath on it.

Bought these charger cables to replace the standard plastic coated ones that were fraying. Though I received them only a couple of days ago I believe they will to the trick. They look very sturdily built to withstand fraying and look like they will also withstand folding and curling. I bunched up the cables as I do not usually need the full 10 feet for a charge but good to have in case I ever need the full length. Like the color assortment though this was not a priority. The seller says these cables have fast data transfer, which means they're not just charging cables. However, one of them was hit or miss as to whether it would connect to CarPlay in my Ram 2500. Contacted seller and was told the cables weren't designed for vehicle use. The responder didn't know what they were talking about. An iphone data cable doesn't care if it's plugged into a car or a computer, it's the same cable config. Same cable was hit or miss on the computer too. Other cables in the package worked fine, for a while, now one of them is going bad too. I find it hard to believe these are certified. They look good but the quality sure isn't there. ... show more

I like that the cord is very thick and looks like it with withstand usage. I have been through many cords with my iPad and I’m hoping this one lasts longer than 6 months. These seem a little more durable and I do not put much stress on any. I only charge at night on a table, so they should definitely last longer than 6 months. ... show more
