  • Another great story in the series
Format: Hardcover
The art and the stories are great in this series. The format of the dust jacket changed a little, which is annoying after five previous volumes, but the content remains outstanding.

  • The Killer: affairs of the state part 1
Format: Kindle
I was about 2/3 of the way through the original killer compendium when I decided to pick up affairs of the state parts one and two. I like the original compendium. I thought it was an interesting book with a lot of harsh ideas about geopolitical situations, particularly those of central and South America as well as Africa. Affairs of the state bring the killer back to his home country of France. He works for the government because he has no choice. This book has the same great art as the original series and the same anger about the state of humanity. This is probably better than a three-star book. I think I shouldn't have bought the sequel novels right away and taken a break. These books are dense and at times kind of slow. I hope to come back to these books sometime down the line to see if I like them better. I still have to read affairs of the state part 2 also which I will do right now ... show more
