  • Arrived on time and all the drives had 5 year warranty.
I bought 5 16TB drives to upgrade my nas. First thing I checked before opening the package was the warranty for each drive. I bought them in Feb 2024 . All drives show warranty good until Feb 2029. Everything installed smoothly and they are working as they should. It was a good price and happy with the purchase. I would buy them again. ... show more

  • It's working perfect. Just a clarification and hope it helps others.
To clarity (I see many product questions and answers are wrong), the HDD Pro (New), which is NTZ01 (equivalent to NT001, just package difference), is the new series that has 550 Workload Rate Limit (WRL), while the old NE000 series has 300 WRL. Note that it's quite noisy in heavy use (clicking sounds). That's normal. There's no sound at idle. Use Keepa to trace the amazon price and make sure you don't overpay for the item. The expected price for 16TB NTZ01 (Jan 2023) shall be around $270. ... show more

  • Works great but noisy
I bought two 16TB Iron Wolf for my Synology NAS DS220+. I had to replaced first 2 drive they arrived with dents and scratches. The seller replaced both, no issues. HDDs works great no issues so far BUT... The they are noisy when the NAS is idle. Doing my research thinking the Disks could has a problem I found the noise is something common on Seagate drives. Based on my searching it's a head parking noise and it's normal but I can hear the clicking sound around the house, looks like someone is walking on my attic lol. Rather than that everything's looks good. -1 star due noises. ... show more

  • Great Drive, Terrible Packaging
I’ve bought multiple of these drives from Amazon in the past. They’re very reliable. I’ve only had issues with one manufacturer recertified drive. That one I had to return. However, when I went to purchase another new drive to expand my volume, the drive I received did not come in the manufacturers Original packaging. This was left on my doorstep in a single layer cardboard box and nothing else. This is a recipe for disaster. There’s no way I trust this drive to last the full length of the manufacturers warranty and that’s because of Amazon’s packaging. I’m debating whether to return or not. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked perfectly in a DS923+
Drives are AMAZING and worth it over consumer-grade drives. Time will tell........ Also Bought two A-Tech 16GB ECC ram sticks for my DS923+ NAS system. Have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by their performance. These ram sticks exceeded my expectations. I installed them in my DS923+ without any compatibility issues, making it a user-friendly and seamless experience. The absence of warning errors about unofficial ram further confirms their excellent compatibility with the DS923+ system. Also, these are a steal for more than half the price of Synology-branded ram. ... show more

  • Seagate is the oldest brand hard drives and the quality lives on
Seagate has been around since the beginning of hard drives and has the experience to know how to make the best. When it comes to hard drives is simply makes sense to buy the best from the brand you can trust. Flawless performance for working drive or back ups. Highly recommended.

  • Relatively quiet, reliable storage
I bought a pair of these for my NAS to create a RAID storage system. They are relatively quiet and do the job they were meant to do.
