Love it way better than my other one. Water flows much better through it , its more comfortable to sit on. And way easy to install. Had it installed in about 10 minutes. Don't try use the house toilet stainless flex line will not thread to rv toilet but they do have a quick style connector that does that just locks onto the pex line permitting your rv has that. In my case I just installed a pex to pex shutoff valve ( house toilet valve) to a piece of pex to a 90 degree elbow to the quick connector that someone already converted it to. ... show more

I had one of the notorious toilets that would make it past warranty before their defects presented problems. I came to learn the defects have been known of for years and they must have been really cheap for manufacturers so they ignored that soon after warranty they would stink out a colony of skunks. I dismantled the Dometic thinking I could replace seals etc only to finally realize the only solution was to junk the toilet. So I looked for a good toilet and noticed this one. A recent release on the market, good features, not such a squat and dropper, so I took the chance. The nicest surprise is its comfort. Wow, an RV toilet does not need to be a rustic get by. Surprise...it works. Even more surprised...it is easy to keep clean and really does use less water for flushing what usually doesn't want to cooperate with flushing. This is such an upgrade from Dometic. My RV is small with a closet of a toilet -- shower space. Our Seaflow toilet is such an improvement it makes the toilet -- shower closet a "pride of ownership" in our RV. I only wish I had known about Dometic toilets design problem in the beginning and saved ourselves from having to abandon our RV for 15 minutes every time the door to the toilet -- shower closet was opened. It's a plastic toilet, not porcelain. But marketing aside, I personally don't think "porcelain" makes a toilet somehow a magic item. I just replaced a Thetford Aqua Magic II (porcelain) toilet with this unit (plastic) and think this is better in most ways. The Thetford toilet uses standard Delta seals and springs but they don't tell you that probably because then they can't sell you their replacement kit at 3x the price. But their foot-pedal design is such hot garbage that it's really easy to break it while servicing it, and then you're out a toilet. So far the Seaflo has been great. It's a plastic toilet but with a really deep bowl which helps prevent "splashing" (you know what I'm talking about, come on, we're adults here replacing toilets). Installation was easy but bear in mind this will have a 1/2" MIP port so you need a 3/8" to 1/2" hose if you have a valve and compression fitting (1/2 is NOT common so make sure you get that, not 7/8 BC like most houses have) or a 1/2" FIP to 1/2" PEX fitting plus appropriate 1/2 PEX crimp/pinch tools and such. Honestly my only complaint is the "sprayer hose". I sprang for this as an add-on thinking it might replace the third-party bidet we'd added to our old Thetford unit, but it is absolutely for cleaning the toilet, not yourself, caveat emptor. It has a really stiff hose that doesn't hang very nicely, and only runs when you depress the flush pedal, so it's fine for rinsing the bowl but not much else. Save your money and get the unit without the sprayer. ... show more

I'm giving this 5 stars because it works as described, but I'm not a huge fan. I got the one with the sprayer only because it shipped faster, but I'm so glad I did! My last camper toilet had the water coming around from the top of the bowl and it rinsed the entire bowl. This one does not. You will need to use the sprayer to rinse the toilet after use or it will smell. The height is as expected and it is as comfortable and sturdy as you would expect a toilet camper to be. The packaging was fine. It came in a large box and was basically assembled and ready for install. It is very light weight and easy to place. ... show more

I am a procrastinator until the mood hits me. I came home from work on lunch break and had it installed in 20 minutes. All I had to do was cut water supply, install 90 degree elbow and bolt it to the floor. A week now and works great. Flush valve does not leak into bowl when low water supply pressure like my old ceramic toilet did. ... show more

Overall construction is fine aside from one fatal flaw. The flush rinse pattern does not hit the front of the bowl AT ALL. It hits about 2/3 of the bowl leaving the front dirty. This to me seems to be the most crucial place to rinse. So unless you enjoy the smell of urine, or want to wipe out the inside of the bowl with toilet paper, DON’T BUY THIS TOILET. ... show more
