Been using this tank for several months now in my homemade camper suv. I think it's fantastic for the $40 I paid for it. it is low to the ground and a bit difficult to sit on but I didn't want a 5 gal holding tank for one person and I like that it doesn't take up too much room. Other people have talked abut it leaking, mine did too but NOT from the holding tank, from the part you press to "flush". I over filled the fresh water tank and the sloshing when driving caused water to leak out from that piece. When you "flush", one spout of water comes out and only rinses part of the basin. I now use the flush only to add water to the bottom tank, thin it out. I use extra paper to hand wipe the basin after each use. That is the ONLY way to keep it clean and from smelling. Yes it "burps" but that seems totally expected to me, you have decomposing crap in the bottom! Of course pressure would build up. I leave the lid down when I pull the bar to open the tank up, then sit down. No problem. ... show more

It leaked at the rubber gasket all over the tent! Found out that this unit does not work like a previous unit we had used in the past. You MUST pull the flap open before using so when you go it drops straight into the lower holding tank. You DO NOT go in the upper bowl and then pull the flap open to "flush". The water pump is only to wash what might be left in the bowl area down into the lower holding tank with the flap open, it is not to fill the upper bowl while going. So be careful while using this. ... show more

We have a 2019 Sun Tracker 24 fb xp3 and could not find a porta pottie that fit in the privacy enclosure. a user on the Sun Tracker forum shared they have one of these and it fits great! Ordered it and received it quickly and it fits , convenient and works great.

It leak the second time I used it an could not get the close off open easily.because they're used cheap metal on the shaft that Rusted . So that ate the plastic around the shaft an now it leaks all over my sailboat. Don't buy .
