  • A year later & still going strong 👍
Size: Standard Color: Gray
Best turd bucket Ive found yet 👍. Been travelling over a year now and its held up well to daily use. Got this to use instead of the built in RV tank. Its fairly well built with a few minor things that leave room for improvement but Id buy one again any day. The tank , pump, dump function etc all work super. ZERO bad smells, I use some RV tank enyzme treatment. The seat is a bit flimsy but works. The only issue Ive had was the retaining clip on the hand flush pump broke , the clip that keeps it from pulling up and off when you want to disassemble it. It only broke when my hand slipped and I pulled up a bit too much one day , but was an easy fix by adding a couple stainless screws to the cap. Its mostly a non issue. I really like the way you can seperate the top seat and tote off the tank to dump it anywhere you like . No more driving around with a stinky & heavy built in tank full of 300 gallons of mess that you have to move the whole RV to go dump. Im a germ freak so I like that its easy to clean by just putting it in the shower and spray it down w cleaner then rinse. A few pro tips : Dont put the paper in it , makes it a lot easier to dump. Put a couple pumps of water in the bowl before use , helps flush easier. Close the lid and open the flush valve slow so you dont get splashback. Keep a spray bottle around to knock the skidmarks in the bowl off instead of pumping the built in water a bunch. ... show more

  • Perfect for #vanlife or Traveling with Kids!
Size: Standard Color: Gray
We needed to find a solution for traveling that gave us flexibility to address the need to go when the next exit is 10 miles away. Utilizing the depth created by the minivan’s third row floor, this toilet created the perfect portable potty for kids and adults. With the short third row seat flat and tinted windows, we had a clear path to climb to the back while staying inside the van so no one was the wiser what anyone was doing back there! We even used it in busy parking lots and no one even looked our way. This toilet is just the perfect amount of height that I could comfortably sit on it without feeling that it’s too low and with the Toyota Sienna and my 6’1” height my head doesn’t touch the van headliner at all. The toilet contains two tanks. The upper tank is what you fill up with clean water. It’s what’s used to flush your business down from the toilet bowl into the bottom tank. I purchased the Walex Bio-Pak natural enzyme deodorizer & waste digester drop on tablets and they’re amazing! You will want to flush about 2-3 times to get clean water into the bottom tank, then you use the “drain” tube to carefully drop/push one of those tablets in to the bottom tank. Now you’re set for absolutely no smells and any “solids” get dissolved pretty quickly. Even wipes get dissolved — but not as quickly as the human waste of course. As you drive, you’ll hear a minimal amount of water sloshing around but the thick plastic walls of the toilet hide a lot of the noise so you almost need to be sitting in that third row with it immediately behind to hear anything. But with those tablets, there is 100% no smell. Get the tablets! Avoid splashing. Always remember to close the toilet top lid first before opening the Pull valve to drop the waste from the bowl to the tank or you might get some splash back! Remember 1-2-3: 1. Close top lid. 2. Pull front valve. 3. Flush. Easy! Emptying the bottom tank is relatively easy. As others have said, it’s not a one pour step. You may need to pour it out, then put some clean water in, then slosh it around and pour out a second time. Wouldn’t you do that anyway with something like this? I wasn’t surprised by that step, but I also think some people aren’t using those tablets and that would definitely make it more difficult to empty if everything wasn’t dissolved to liquid first. Get those tablets! Overall, this has been the perfect solution. No leaks. No smells. Not too big but not too small. Self contained. Highly portable. No batteries. Don’t risk it by getting something that’s $20 cheaper, leaks or stinks. Trust the reviews like I did and you’ll be as excited about a toilet as I am. ... show more

  • Terrific product!
Size: Standard Color: Gray
We purchased the SereneLife portable toilet to take on an extended camping trip. It was wonderful when camping in grizzly country to not have to go outside in the dark. It was very convenient as well to wake up and not have put on coat in the cold morning air. We love our portable toilet. The very first time I emptied the tank at a dump station, I dropped cap and watched it roll into the drain. Not much you can do to recover the cap. So, I finished the trip with my trusty roll of duct tape and all was well. The tank was easy to empty at a dump station and we dumped it flush toilets as well with no problem. I recommend removing the cap and placing it far away from the drain hole. When we got home we contacted the company to see if could buy a new cap for the drain. To our delight they agreed to send us n new one at no charge. There were no questions asked except showing proof of purchase. Our sewer main at our house backed up the night before we were to leave for a three-week trip. So, we broke out the toilet again used it but couldn't drain it so we left it in the garage. When we returned from the trip, I was dreading dealing with the toilet that had weeks old waste inside. To my surprise the chemicals and toilet did their job and there was no foul smell. It's a great product for more than just camping! ... show more

  • Sturdy, big enough for comfort, small and light enough for carrying, perfect during this pandemic
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I waited until we had used it enough times to write a review. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and so does everyone who has used it. Bought it so we could avoid having to get out of the tent in the middle of the night to answer nature's call outside and to avoid having to use latrines in rustic campgrounds or restrooms in modern ones, especially during these times of COVID-19 and social distancing. We did not want to have to use common areas, especially those types of areas. We have a very big tent and we reserved an area just for this purpose (we use our tent divider to separate this designated area from the rest of our living space to put it that way.) We have gone only on weekend trips and we used Bio-Pak deodorizers and waste digester drop-ins (alpine fresh scent.) The days when it was hot, we could start to smell that typical smell of waste mixed with porta-potty smell after a full day of use. Not sure if the other scents could disguise that better. But the drop-ins were lifesavers. What I'm trying to say is that the potty will not retain all the smells. So you may want to consider using a tank deodorizer and waste digester. It also allows for better cleaning. This takes me to the next sub topic of my review of this potty. I strongly recommend not throwing T.P. in the potty, only #1 and #2. You will find that if you throw the T.P. in a baggy instead of in the potty, it will be a lot easier to get it cleaned, especially if you're using the Bio-Pak. I'm giving the potty a 3-star rating for the cleaning aspect because no matter how hard I tried to completely empty it, it was impossible to get rid off all the water. The Bio-Pak took care of the human waste. But because the orange tube that you use to empty it is not flat with the base, some water stays inside. I tried to also get it out through the big hole through which things go down. Same problem. There's a rim for holding the gasket and for connecting the lower part to the upper part, which would be the seat and water tank. It locks the two main parts well. But because of that rim, you cannot get the water to slide out. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Without that rim, well, things could come out and that would not be pretty. I'm not a plumber or engineer. But perhaps a future design could find a way to get the remaining water a lot easier. (This is the reason why I didn't give it a 5-star review.) So for cleaning it, after emptying it and cleaning it with disinfecting wipes, I hosed it down the best I could and shook it in all directions. I also left it out in the sun for a few days. both parts apart on their own. That way, it evaporated most if not all of it. But this is not really a very convenient way to take care of the last of the water in it. Now to the water tank. It is big enough to last us 2-3 days, depending on how many people are using it and how often we use it. The most we had so far has been two adults and a young child. One of the adults is a bit overweight (around 230 LBS for a 5'1" person.) I can't remember the weight limit for this product. But it held and they didn't feel uneasy or unsafe while using it. (They felt it could hold their weight.) We didn't have any issues flushing it, either. Just remember to keep the lid down and make sure that you pull the handle for the sealing waste valve, not only when going, but also when flushing. My child made the mistake of not pulling it out one time and well, it was not pretty. And make sure to pull it all the way out. It was a bit wet after my child forgot to pull it out when going and I'm not sure whether it was plain water from the tank, or urine. So to be on the safe side, just make sure to pull it out. (I saw some reviews saying that they go with that close because they don't want to smell the contents of the waste tank.) Speaking of the waste valve, there's a level indicator next to it. As the waste tank fills up, the level changes gradually from green to red. I found this very convenient. By the way, it's not heavy at all, not even with both tanks full. And it have handles. So you can hold it firmly whether you are trying to move it or empty it. The carrying bag that comes with it is very convenient, too. It seems a bit flimsy and that it won't last too long, especially if carrying the potty at its heaviest. But it does its job and it's easy to carry, even for a woman like me. None of us is over 5'5" (1,65 meters.) So its height was comfortable enough. (I'm used to backpacking. Therefore, having this was luxury for me.) If you're a much taller person, you will definitely find it a bit low. In that case, you may want to consider rising it on something sturdy and flat. But if you don't mind going that down, then you should be okay. To summarize, we do love this product and we hope it will last us for a very long time. The only truly con I found is that it was made in China. Either way, I highly recommend it. The lady in your life will be grateful and might actually start to like going camping. Moreover, if you have young children who still need help going, you'll be happy that you won't have to walk them to the latrine or restroom in the middle of a cold night. ... show more

  • Potty for camping.
Size: Standard Color: Gray
PTitle: A Camping Necessity: The Porta Potty That Saved Our Trip! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) When it comes to camping, there are a few essential items that can truly make or break your outdoor adventure, and the camping porta potty is undoubtedly one of them. During our recent camping trip, this portable toilet turned out to be an absolute lifesaver, and I can't sing its praises enough. First and foremost, the convenience of having a porta potty on hand cannot be overstated. While camping in the great outdoors is undoubtedly refreshing, dealing with nature's call in the middle of the night or during a hike can be quite challenging. This portable toilet completely eliminated that problem, making our camping experience far more enjoyable. The setup of the camping porta potty was surprisingly simple. It came with clear instructions, and within minutes, we had a clean and functional toilet at our disposal. The waste disposal bags were easy to attach and remove, keeping the whole process hygienic and mess-free. Emptying and cleaning the unit was also a breeze, thanks to the well-designed system. One of the standout features of this porta potty was its durability. We exposed it to all sorts of weather conditions during our trip, from scorching sun to torrential rain, and it held up perfectly. The sturdy construction and robust materials used ensured that it remained stable and secure throughout our entire camping adventure. Moreover, the porta potty's compact size made it easy to transport in our vehicle, and it didn't take up much space in our campsite. The fact that it was so lightweight was a huge plus for us, as it allowed us to move it around as needed. In terms of hygiene, we were impressed by the odor control mechanism in this porta potty. Even in the sweltering heat, there were no unpleasant smells emanating from the unit, thanks to the built-in deodorizer. All in all, the camping porta potty was an absolute game-changer for our camping trip. It brought a level of comfort and convenience that we hadn't anticipated, and it truly saved the day (and night) on numerous occasions. If you're an avid camper or even a casual outdoor enthusiast, I highly recommend investing in one of these portable toilets. It's a small purchase that can make a world of difference in your camping experience. Don't leave home without it!roduct came on time and in great packaging. Was super easy to set up. • pool toilet
Size: Standard Color: Gray
We bought this to use in our gazebo/poolside shed (which is set back quite a way from our home), so that we don't need walk all the way back to the house and track water inside just to use the loo. This model was the closest to the height of our "real" house toilets, and so it is the easiest for me and my old joints to get on and off from. The other models we tried were shorter. I am a heavier woman, and I feel very secure on this seat - it doesn't feel wobbly or like I might break it, and the seat size is just fine. "flushing" is very easy. I found that it works best for me if I open the bottom before I spray the water, as it reduces the splash. Because the toilet is in an enclosed small shed, it can get pretty warm. I have found that adding an RV toilet deodorizer works wonders on reducing the smell. Emptying the toilet is a breeze - just unhook the top and bottom, spin the tube and dump it down the drain (I bring it inside and drain it in the toilet). We only use this toilet for #1, and have a sign instructing guests to put their TP in the adjacent garbage can. This makes clean-up a breeze. After I drain it, I spray it down good with the garden hose. Every few times I will do a deeper clean of it. This method works for us, and we are so happy to have this toilet! ... show more

  • Comfortable and easy to assemble
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I bought this as a gift and the recipient has enjoyed using it. It was a little heavier than I expected, but still relatively lightweight. It would be very easy to pack in a truck and would easily fit into a standard or even compact car's trunk. Assembling it is a breeze. The recipient is about 6 feet tall and has a midsize-to-large build and could still comfortably sit on it. It has two pieces and that connect, and appears to be very well-made. ... show more
