I had previously purchased a different model of RV toilet by a different manufacturer. It was terrible. This one, though seems to be a quality-made product. Installation was simple. The flange bolts were heavy-duty, and the nuts pulled the toilet's base all the way to the floor, compressing the seal. The toilet is solid, and it works well. Bowl-filling is easy with a partial depression of the pedal. Flushing is easy. It is a great replacement. Very good product.

I replaced the old plastic toilet which was like sitting on a gallon bucket with this incredible SeaFlo toilet. Took me less than 30 mins, fit perfectly using the existing base and bolts. The water supply hooked right up without any need for any other parts. The sprayer works when the foot lever is pressed and is connected to the same valve as the toilet. No inline connections were needed. The flushing action on this toilet is absolutely phenomenal!!!! Works very smoothly. Now, the seat is like the elongated toilet in a residential house and seat/lid close nice a soft. Best upgrade you can do, easy with great results.

It's a plastic toilet, not porcelain. But marketing aside, I personally don't think "porcelain" makes a toilet somehow a magic item. I just replaced a Thetford Aqua Magic II (porcelain) toilet with this unit (plastic) and think this is better in most ways. The Thetford toilet uses standard Delta seals and springs but they don't tell you that probably because then they can't sell you their replacement kit at 3x the price. But their foot-pedal design is such hot garbage that it's really easy to break it while servicing it, and then you're out a toilet. So far the Seaflo has been great. It's a plastic toilet but with a really deep bowl which helps prevent "splashing" (you know what I'm talking about, come on, we're adults here replacing toilets). Installation was easy but bear in mind this will have a 1/2" MIP port so you need a 3/8" to 1/2" hose if you have a valve and compression fitting (1/2 is NOT common so make sure you get that, not 7/8 BC like most houses have) or a 1/2" FIP to 1/2" PEX fitting plus appropriate 1/2 PEX crimp/pinch tools and such. Honestly my only complaint is the "sprayer hose". I sprang for this as an add-on thinking it might replace the third-party bidet we'd added to our old Thetford unit, but it is absolutely for cleaning the toilet, not yourself, caveat emptor. It has a really stiff hose that doesn't hang very nicely, and only runs when you depress the flush pedal, so it's fine for rinsing the bowl but not much else. Save your money and get the unit without the sprayer.

So, it doesn't come with a floor flange, but it does come with a seal. This is important to note as the install instructions on the box and in the paper manual that comes with the toilet informs you to install the flange first. This is misleading and makes it seem like a floor flange should be included. After doing a deep look at the product images says it doesn't come with a flange in small text. This information isn't even in the product description. If you don't look you would never know and even if you look you would have to look carefully to find this info out. Not cool. Rating 5 stars so others can see, but 3 stars due to this as the toilet itself seems pretty good quality and great functionality.
