  • 100000 Star review! Fabulous toilet!
If I could give this 100 stars, I would! Fabulous composting toilet in every way. Easy instructions to install, easy to use, NO SMELL whatsoever. We had a different composting toilet years back and it was awful - smell, bulkiness, etc. The OGO is a dream!!!!! The design is also great - sleek and so easy use and clean as well. Couldn’t be happier with it. We use it as our main toilet in our small cabin. Fabulous value for the price too! Also, customer service is OUTSTANDING! Staff is easily reachable by phone; very friendly and knowledgeable. Great product and great company! HIGHLY recommend OGO in every way!!!! ... show more

  • Works extremely well and outstanding customer service
Outstanding customer service and support.Besides the fact , the unit works as advertised... Easy to deal with keeps me from having to dump every week and makesthe water last over two weeks. I won't lie. Had a couple of warranty items that needed taking care of and they took care of it without a question. I was getting ready to make an order for parts and was informed that it's under warranty.... which is interesting because if you look, there isn't a warranty listed, so it tells me that they are very hands-on personal With the issues.... outstanding company... and products ... show more

  • Perfect little potty
Pricey, but a great retro fit for off the grid living. Couldn't have done without it when first moving on my land.

  • Don’t waste your money on the poop bucket with motor and fan.
This item is ostensibly a poop bucket with a motor, nothing else. The urine catch fills in less than 2 days, and is constantly needing emptying, so we will end up using piping for this. Additionally, the indicator light illuminates, then doesn’t shut off anymore. We cleaned the switch, but starts all over again almost immediately. Over $800 and definitely NOT a happy customer.Save your money ... show more

  • Compact
At only 15 inches wide this thing fits perfectly in my small TT bathroom. Has given me more leg room than the original toilet. Easy to set up. Only 2nd week of use but love it so far. Only 2 complaints...the "mulch" that comes complimentary STINKS. package was not opened but when I did, ( it comes already damp and broken down for you) it smelled very strong like urine to me. I opted to use horse bedding pellets instead. Been using those for years. They do the same thing and the mulch but smell WAY BETTER AND FRESH. The motor and mixer have no problems sturing it around. My other complaint is the middle urine and solids separation down in the bowl. Its very high up...and touches you while you sit on the bowl. Makes wiping a challenge...lol otherwise very happy. ... show more

  • Good quality and well worth the money
Well we been using the OGO for only 5 days so it’s new to us. We live full time in our camper and on our private land. We been using a sanitation company with an outhouse that they empty every two weeks so for the winter months and so we don’t keep going outside I decided to buy a OGO compost. The price is what kept me away. Well we broke down and decided to buy one. OMG I should of bought this thing years ago. We did not want to drill holes in our camper so we decided to use it without the vent hose and glad we did. So far in five days we still don’t smell anything. The wife and I use it full time and my daughter comes over once in a while and after five days it is still going good without changing the coir. The only thing I think they need to do to it is add the 110 plug. I had to find and order around 50.00 other than that I give 500% rating. Thank you OGO ... show more

  • Excellent choice for my camper
I replaced my camper toilet with this composting toilet and am extremely pleased with the choice. Almost no maintenance other than emptying the bucket and urine tank, which they have made pretty easy as well. Now, if only the bricks of coconut coir were easier to break apart. Came with a vent tube but I thought I would try without it first because I hate putting holes in the camper. Glad I waited. No vent tube was needed. It takes a very small DC power cord which was easy to patch in on another DC circuit. Only thing I would change is that I didn't remove the toilet flange in case I didn't like it and wanted to revert back. The OGO toilet has a solid bottom, so I had to build up a platform around the toilet flange. It sits just a little too high because I chose this during installation (not OGO's fault). Doing it over, I would remove the toilet flange so I don't have the added height on the toilet. This is very sturdy and much better than a standard RV toilet. I wish they would make some RV's and campers with factory installed composting toilets. Between this toilet and switching out the rooftop air conditioner to a mini split heat pump (efficient air and heat) has made my camper much better for me and more flexible. ... show more

  • Not worth $1000
I had a natures Head but it was too cumbersome to empty. That was my only problem. So I bought an OGO. I’m a little disappointed. It’s not as “ sturdy” as the Natures Head and certainly not as comfortable. It came with a plug for a vehicle but no adapter to plug into my tiny home, so I had to order a new one. They were charging $45 for and adapter for 110 system. I found one on Amazon for $19. So I can’t churn mine yet. The plug for the NH fits it but only operates the fan. The mechanism to open the solid section sticks and it’s hard to open and close. The urine jug I got is a solid grey…. I’d prefer to be able to see when it’s getting full. I’ve seen clear or opaque ones in their ads.🤷🏼♀️ I was really excited but honestly… I’m a bit let down. Makes me want to go back to flushing. ... show more
