Very rarely do I write a review, but I can not recommend this mop at all! I received this spinning steam mop today and within an hour I was excitedly trying it out to clean the kitchen & bathroom floor. I should point out that I am not new to steam mops and that I always thoroughly sweep/vacuum floors before mopping. My findings: I did a bare-hands touch test to feel the heat on the floor after passing over a section as well as after holding it in place for about a minute. My hand picked up residue. Dirt was NOT grabbed by the pads. =The floor was NOT cleaned. *The steam does NOT translate HEAT to the floor without holding it in the same spot (about a minute) until the floor feels hot to touch. =it would require very slow movements to heat up floor as you inch this mop across your floors. = NOT practical and probably NOT able to deep CLEAN floors. *It swivels, BUT if you turn the handle to the left/right at an angle to move the base into a corner, the mop will STOP & PAUSE until you change the handles position = useless swivel action! I'm disappointed and frustrated after being hopeful in the claims about the mop. What a waste of time waiting for it's arrival, the time spent trying to clean floors, as well as money. I've already requested a return for a full refund, as the description of this item I believe is not accurate, downright misleading in it's cleaning ability and function in my humble opinion. The cord is long. It only felt heavy taking the base out of the box, but maneuverability is easy/light - BUT useless when it stops/pauses when moving base sideways to fit corners or narrow area. ... show more

There is not really any steam. Just enough water to make pads wet. It will scrub just fine, but all you will get is wet pads no steam. Would clean better if there was steam.

This mop is almost self propelled and works wonders on laminate floors. You can also wash cleaning pads !

I really like this steam mop. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight, easy to control, and the rotating pads make cleaning the floor much easier. It glides smoothly and makes mopping simple and effortless. Very happy with this purchase!

    • Didn’t steam properly!
I noticed the first time I used it that it steamed okay at first, but toward the end, it wasn’t steaming at all. Yes, I made sure it had water… I also didn’t like the way the rotating pads didn’t overlap, so there was a strip that you had to go over again! Awkward to maneuver too, since it said not to pull it back. I definitely would NOT recommend this machine! I did try two different time just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke! ... show more
