This thing is awesome. I don't use any kind of case and have been looking for a ProClip mount that would securely hold my caseless max iphone in a very stiff and bumpy car WITHOUT adding a ring or case. This works perfectly. Holds very strong but phone is still easy to remove. I also like that it's not a charging mount because the mount location is right in the sun and not cooled by a vent. Since the MFGR does not indicate magnetic strength, I bought this Heavy Duty MagSafe mount and the MagicMount Pro2 to test for myself. This HD won hands down. The HD is at least 50% stronger. So I kept the HD and sent back the Pro2. With regard to real world testing in my rough-riding F350, this HD mount is absolutely solid. The phone does not vibrate nor has it come close to falling. I would have given this 5 stars, but I wasted too much time trying to figure out which magnet was the strongest and by how much. In the end, I had to order both to find out for myself. ... show more

I was very skeptical of using a magnetic phone mount and always used the ProClip universal holder. Gave this one a try and I am never going back. The strength of the magnet is very strong and bonus for being very minimalistic. Fits well with pro clip base I had however the screws that come with this mount are shorter so used the ones I already had. Bit pricey for a phone mount but definitely worth the value. Currently installed in my Mazda 3 and used for iphone 12 and 13pro with and without a phone case. ... show more

    • Solid mount!
Replaced a clamp mount on a Proclip base. Super strong magnet holds my S25 Ultra securely. Phone is easily removed with a simple twist. The magnet mount isn't some ugly hunk of metal. It's actually thoughtfully styled and looks at home in my Lexus. Great option when you already have a proclip base.

Bought this mount back in march and it was great while it lasted. It started getting loose and when tightening the nut snapped. Hope they make this out of aluminum or something stronger
