The media could not be loaded. I really wasn’t sure how this would work with mounting in my car. I opted to use the flat disc that comes with it instead of trying to suction directly onto the surface because I didn’t have fully flat surfaces. The disk adhered to my dash perfectly even though part of the disc is hanging off the edge due to lack of surface space. The adhesion is strong. And the main component suctioned onto it beautifully. I was really worried it would fall off and it hasn’t budged. I can rotate my device in every direction and the holder is super secure. For reference I have installed this in a 2023 Honda Odyssey and a 2000 Toyota Camry with the 3M disc with a little of the disc not having a hard surface behind it in either vehicle. It works wonderfully in both. And I’m about to install another in my husband’s 2018 Toyota Tundra. Don’t worry if you don’t have a perfectly flat dash or the exact surface area of the holder itself. The sticky disc is strong enough that it’ll hold strong even if some of it hangs off the edge.

My setup: Samsung Galaxy S24+ with a Magsafe case in a Toyota iA. The less-than-perfect: while the stand offers a number of orientation options, the lack of extension may limit the orientation options for portrait orientation of larger phones. Coupled with curvy dashboards, this may limit usability. The great: I can't speak to how well it works for iPhones, as I don't have one. However, it works wonderfully with the Magsafe-compatible case for my S24+, and feels really solid. Do you have an Android phone but it isn't a Magsafe case? ANDERY has you covered - they include magnetic rings in the kit for application to the phone/case, and include a mounting template so you can center it. I can't speak to how well they work, but it's nice that it is included. The suction cup seems very stable: even after struggling to find a mounting place where it would stick (curvy dashboard) and repositioning it a bunch, it has solidly suctioned in place. The only minor disappointment I have is what I mentioned earlier - with larger phones (like the S24+), you might be more limited in mounting locations without attaching to the windshield (doesn't work in my application - it would be too far forward and would obscure visibility too much) or using the enclosed adhesive pad to create a flat spot. I'd only ding it for 0.5 stars, but since the options are 4 or 5 stars, I'll drop it by one star. All in all, a very solid mounting option for iPhone and Android users.

great car phone holder. I had the older non magnet type and compared to this one they looked bulky. This is not obtrusive as I have on my left dash board about where the state inspection sticker is at. It's perfect and holds my iPhone 17 pro max perfectly and sturdy.
