As a teenager I worked at a detail shop and did tinted windows daily. So Ive used alot of different material. This is not super high end, but it works fine. My only complaint is its not as good adhesive as the higher end stuff, so if you dont get an edge perfect you could have to redo it. But we tinted my daughters new trail blazers front windows and it looks good.

IT did keep the car cooler, does it look good? No it does not, my grandpa said if it was on his car he would be embarrassed lol. It was a great price, not to much of a pain and worked when I really needed it. 30 year old car, June 1st, no ac, halfway across the country with all my possessions and my dear car who I had to ice down the whole time, and without these not sure if it would have went as smooth as it did. We purchased this in 36" width to fit the back glass, with intentions to tint all the windows of our bug. This film will NOT seal. This is the most difficult and non-workable tint that my husband (who has been tinting his own vehicles for 20 years) has EVER worked with. Waste of money. Super subpar quality.

This tint is decent . But it is not as thick as I thought and was easy to tear while cutting, soake sure your razer blade/box cutter is not dinged and dull like mine. One thing is that the instructions look like they're telling you to put it on the outside on the car window, but you're supposed to read them and you'll see it goes on the inside of the car windows. We felt immediate relief of the heat and the tint was just enough to still have a little sunlight but keep people from seeing in as easily. As you can see in the picture, this roll was enough for a 15 passenger van, minus the two front roll down windows. I have never rented windows before so the first one was a bit tricky, and I ended up having to cut a new piece for the small window I started on. It's not terribly difficult to install, but it does take effort and determination, a heat gun, a spray bottle of a little soapy water, and a plastic scraper. Don't scrap the window tint without first heating it up some, it will scratch and tear. It took me, with the help of my child to hold and spray and scrape a little, 5 hours. This was my first time doing this.
