This bike looks great and rides smoothly. I bought it as a birthday gift for my girlfriend (she loves it) and wouldn't have had time to request a replacement, so I went ahead and built it anyway but made sure to get some photos of the issues that came with it. It looks like it may have been mishandled at the manufacturer warehouse. There are some dents and bent pieces (see attached photos) that probably didn't happen during shipping, judging by their placement and sufficient cushioning in the box. I managed to realign the metal wheel covering on the back after loosening the pre-assembled screws and forcefully pushing the pieces into place. But this shouldn't be necessary. And I would argue that it shouldn't have been boxed up with those dents in the first place. Hoping Schwinn can send some replacement parts or issue some kind of refund. ... show more

My first day, I loved this bike. The second day my petal broke. The crank arm became stripped from normal riding. I assembled this correctly, did not misthread this and tightened it adequately. The correct pedals were placed on the bike. The force of my foot coming down basically disintegrated the threads of this pedal after about 12 miles of riding. I grew up riding Schwinn. They used to be high quality. Now they seem to be on par with heavy, box store bikes. Sad. It's a cheap repair, but does not make me trust the quality of this bike. My handle bars repeatedly slumped, even when tightened to the max. This makes me feel like this product is generally unsafe. I already threw the box away otherwise I'd be returning this waste of money and pile of junk. ... show more

    • Make sure you are getting the quality you are paying for
I received bike, everything looked great as far as good packaging. when all assembled the bike would make this cheap clicking sound when you would turn the pedals, come to find out either the bearings were bad or assembled wrong in the factory. They offer you the parts to fix, but more time and money if you are having someone else doing the repair for something that should be brand new. I expected a whole different quality from Schwinn. The tires themselves were misshapen and wobbly, something you could expect from Temu. They did not give me a Hassell to return. Maybe the one i received was just a bad unit. so don't just take my experience, read other reviews also. But i am not going to spend time re assembling again. There should be quality control so things like this don't happen. Outside of that, the cosmetics of the bike were a nice color, and it was a good size, the seat was a good size also. If you do get one don't settle for less on the tires and inspect everything, especially for the price they are asking for them. ... show more
