Ok so I was researching e-bike or scooters for at least 3 months before pulling the trigger on this bad boy here. Building the bike was fairly straightforward if you watch the Bigniu Bike Installation video on YouTube. I watched it in .75x normal speed to make pausing it a bit easier. The bike is pretty heavy, but with a heavy duty tubular chassis like this one I’d hardly call it a surprise. The looks of this thing are top tier. I’m 6’0” 220 pounds and I fit on it quite comfortably. I’ve put about 10 miles on it so far so not a ton of ride time but I already love it. I rode it at night with the headlights on and it was plenty bright for a night rider and having blinkers and a tail light makes me feel extra safe on the road. The pedals and cranks are a bit light so I might try to adjust them to have a higher gear ratio for me, as I also ride spin bikes quite often and pedaling on this bike really doesn’t generate any speed. I also don’t know if the bike has regenerative breaking of any kind, but with a battery this size who cares. My breaks squeal a little bit under pressure but I think I just need to figure out how to adjust them. The default settings on the bike computer are set to 3 modes of pedal assist, however if you watch YouTube videos on how to change the settings, you can update the computer for up to 5 levels of pedal assist. I was hoping there was a way to increase the output to the motor to increase top speed but alas I think my top speed being my size is roughly 34-35 on flat road, and I’ve gotten close to 40 downhill before having to brake. She had more to give too. I will update in the spring with a warm weather endurance test to see what kind of distance I can get, but right now it’s sub 30 degrees outside where I live and I already know that’s going to limit the distance. All in all, I’m am super happy with my purchase. Definitely get a helmet since this thing hauls ass. Don’t wait, buy this bike. It’s awesome. I just wish there was a easier way to store it!

From the moment I saw this E-bike online, I was excited. I am a fan of Chopper bikes, and this seemed like the perfect marriage between an e-bike and a chopper. I often hear tons of negative stories about the lack of communication and support from e-bike companies so I was hesitant but decided to go for it. The BIGNIU BG-X arrived in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. I did have an issue with one of the bolts for the front caliper which was slightly bent and it was obvious that it was damaged from lack of care while being shipped. I contacted BIGNIU via their FB Messenger link and they immediately sent an entire set of replacement bolts. Otherwise, this e-bike has been nothing but fun. What has been more surprising, is that once I contacted BIGNIU support, I kept asking for additional features that were just my imagination of what my techie obsession wanted. You can't imagine how surprised I was when they actually listened and so far have designed, tested, and sent me two 2 of the things I asked for. In a time when the market is saturated with e-bike companies and horror stories, BUGNIU has been a breath of fresh air and has helped to restore some of my confidence. And, before the critics respond to this review, I have NO affiliation with BIGNIU. I am just someone who has been burned a few times in the past, took a chance with this e-bike, and felt compelled to tell of my experience. As you can see in one of my photos, I have even added CarPlay to my BG-X :-)

Okay I like this bike I just wish it had 26 inch wheels and not 20 in wheels so pretty much anybody under 5 ft 11 down you should be fine. Anybody over 6 ft it's going to feel a little weird. So this would look great if it was had 26 inch wheels. Putting it together there's no directions so you have to use the video and watch the video several times so you don't mess it up on the forks. The rear fender when you put it on and you roll it with the wheel up through there there is a cable on the left side of the bike. You need to pull that cable back before you flip that Fender up there or it will scratch the side of your fender. I learned it the hard way. Other than that it's a pretty nice bike. I will be rallying this off here where I live at one of the local businesses here in town. I think it'll do pretty good... and for the guy above me that commented with one star that says he doesn't understand why there's only three pedal assist and not five is because he doesn't know how to hold down the up and down button at the same time to go into the menu to turn that stuff on. Go to YouTube man it's all on YouTube. All e-bikes have settings inside the displays. Nothing wrong with this bike works perfect it comes Factory in pedal assist three modes you have to go in the settings to change to five modes.

Would have been 5 stars, unfortunately it sucks in rain, Very top heavy because of height of battery and in wet tires are slippery , I love it otherwise but would highly recommend battery in frame

This is the most coolest thing I have ever owned. Where I live, no one has seen anything like it, even my friends who ride e-bikes. It has taken me on long journeys, to my sons which is about 25 miles from where I live and it did not even hurt the battery. It goes really strong uphill ,and we have one of the steepest hills, I still did 21 all the way up without pedaling. I LOVE this bike!!!!!!!
