I did a lot of research before buying a bike. The price and size of the jetson bike fit my city commute needs. I was excited to buy on Amazon for quick shipping. The bike was delivered to me non operational. It has no ability to hold a charge. Jetson approved a warranty claim, but I've had to call or text jetson each stage of the process because they don't follow throw on next steps. I've called to claim the warranty. I had to call to get an update on the shipping only to be told I needed to sign a disposal document. I signed and then received an email confirming shipping would be in 1-2 business days. I have not received any update so I'm called again and now they don't see the disposal form I signed. The costumer support has been very disappointing. I will update review if and when I receive a working bike. Fingers crossed!! ... show more

Got 2 for my kids (15) to get to and from school and work. They love them. Range is 12ish miles, easy to assemble and ready to rock. (Be careful when installing rear fender, the welding point for the bolt to fasten it to the frame is held on by a weld equivalent to bubble gum) Other than that. Pretty solid. This Jetson scooter, with 14-inch wheels and a 350w motor, is pretty decent, seems reliable, and would work for most people who desire a non-pedaling scooter to get them around (commuting in the city and campgrounds/RVs come immediately to mind). I got it and liked it fine at first, but I live at the base of a mountain, and there are lots of hills, etc. in the area. It got me up medium grades, but it didn't work so well on the steeper stuff. It also used a lot of power carrying me uphill (5'9", 180 lbs), and in my neighborhood that translated to a top range of maybe seven miles. I took it to the city trail system that runs all around town. It's mostly flat, but often the track is unpaved with lots of small rocks scattered about. I lasted about a mile. With no shocks and small wheels, it was too rough a ride--and riding the trail system was one of my major intentions. Again, this is a decent bike that would work for many, especially on flat ground that's paved or fairly smooth. But in my situation it didn't quite cut it, so I returned it and got a more-powerful bike with shocks and longer range (Jetway, 750 volts,14ah), and that one does everything I need it to do. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this bike on Sears.com before. It was cheaper. Sears don't have it now so I bought this version. Same body, same design, same product. Different colour and DIFFERENT seat. The seat stem is exactly the same diameter as the stem projecting upwards from the body of the bike. It is literally impossible to insert bike stem into the upwards hole from the bike body UNLESS you pry open the hole with a tool. The bike comes with a tool kit. ANd the upwards stem has a slit in it which I'm guessing, they want you to jam a wrench into, twist sideways to pry the edges apart like some rambo can opener and leave a jagged edge which is at least wider now, in which you insert the stem of the seat. So I did that, and now the circular clamp to hold the edges of the stem together, won't fit over that larger opening. I called Jetson, and they asked for this video, then they sent a nice email saying I can return the whole frikking bike to THEM< and they'll send me a new one. THe bike is already new. I just spent three days opening and unpacking this thing, and threw the cardboard away. So, no, I'm not gonna send it back. Unless Jetson send me boxes, tape, a new personality, and a few days to do it. THIS BIKE IS GREAT. So great that I bought this new one after my 3 year old version finally conked out. THe other older version? Didn't have this stupid seat glitch. I've heard about this seat glitch. Still a nice scooter. ... show more
