I've been using it for several months for a few hours several nights a week for when I'm crafting. It gets warm but not hot, it clamps tightly (i use a music stand as where i like to work, the lip of the table is too narrow for the clamp to be secure, which i knew going in when purchasing this). The strong flexible neck holds any shape and doesn't drop. The cord is long enough and not stupidly skinny and flimsy. I'll purchase again when needed. I did a lot of homework on what i wanted and what was out there and am very happy with my purchase!! Ps. I like that it’s a great space saver. I wish the goose neck base on the lamp was a little bit firmer to stay in a locked position. When the lamp is placed on my drafting when in a leaning position for a project. Gravity takes place and it sometimes isn’t quite as stable as I would prefer it to be. So I am having to move the goose neck on the lamp itself back in position a few times when working on a single project. So if the lamp had a more stronger locking neck base to stabilize the preferred positions I would rate this lamp with more stars. Love how it clops to my sewing table. The gooseneck lets me bring it down close for precision work (threading a needle) and bring it up when cutting fabric. It does exactly what i bought it for.

Watercolourist here. I love this lamp, and have been using it in my studio since may of 2017, but it recently stopped working. I'm thinking it's the power supply. I'd appreciate it if the maker could contact me and let me know how to get a replacement power supply! Thanks!

    • Great crafting light!
This lamp is very bright, white (daylight) color light and with a sturdy adjustable neck. I’ve had it for over a year now and no problems! Perfect if you do any kind of craft work at night, especially if you need to see true color. I personally use it for sewing since I can place the light close to the machine via the long neck (and sewing machine lights are often not bright enough). Some reviews complained about the clamp and honestly, it’s not a problem. Sure, a C-clamp would be sturdier but also harder to move around, this one I can quickly move as needed. And the clamp DOES hold the aparatus in place once adjusted, no problem. So far this lamp has had great durability and stays cool to the touch through long hours of use. ... show more
