I was on vacation in a different state and suddenly realized that my roots were already gray only three weeks after coloring my hair. Horror! I've been buying Clairol Nice & Easy A4 forever, and although it was a bit too brassy red for me, it was the closest I could come to the subtle cinnamon brown color I was looking for so I stayed with it for 10 years...until vacation. I decided I had to color my hair that night at the beach house we were renting before visiting family the next day. After two stopping at two different stores and unable to find a color even close, it was getting late and hubby was getting impatient. The choices for dark red were non-existent. Everything was either bright red, orange, or an unnatural RED. I spotted Schwarzkopf Keratin Color in Berry Brown 5.3 but was afraid of the name. I was worried "berry" would have a dark pink or purple tint but the color on the box was a rich medium/dark brown and I decided brown was better than gray roots so I grabbed it. I absolutely love GOT2B products, also made by Schwarzkopf, and it was just $3 more than Nice and Easy so I trusted the name and bought it. I'm so glad I did! The smell is incredible. It also comes with gloves, conditioner, and a serum to put on your ends before coloring so you don't get those dark, inky ends and it worked beautifully. The color is gorgeous! It's a rich brown with dark red highlights that keeps it from being boring but aren't glaring red. They glimmer in the light. It's a subtle auburn. My husband loved it and I'm now a die-hard fan. It's the color I've been looking for for a long time. I leave it for 20 minutes instead of 25 to keep it from getting too dark but it still covers those pesky gray roots. The color doesn't fade like Clairol does either and stays vibrant for months. I only have to retouch my roots each month instead of recoloring my entire hair without losing the vibrancy in the rest of my hair. My hair is very shiny and it feels thick, full, and very soft. It's not dry and coarse feeling like Nice and Easy. I'm very fair and the color doesn't wash me out. Fast, reliable shipping with subscription. I recommend this seller and this product. I decided to try to color my hair after seeing maskless clients at my favorite salon. This was a very difficult decision as I had never done this myself. My niece recommended this brand and color. It was really easy to use. There was no smell. The pre color cream was a surprise, went on easy, the actual color solution was easy to mic. I did put the solution in a small color bowl, and applied it with a brush. I focused on the front hairline. I probably didn’t do a good job with the back but that will improve with experience. The conditioner left my hair very soft. My hair has a slight curl naturally. I have washed my hair every am and are happy with the condition of my hair. I would recommend this product. Berry brown is not a “flat” color and I think it looks very natural.

Bought two boxes the condition tube and the dye tube are the exact same l am having a problem with my eye sight but every other hair company has different tube gor the color and the dye so l just wasted my money was so looking forward to this product will buy my old stand buy

I've used Schwartzkopf for several years. It gives a nice permanent color and shine. Plus it is not drying like many coloring products.

Tried this color after going thru the Flaming Reds and not finding the color/tones that I wanted. Fell in love with the color after the first application. Used to buy this at Wal-Mart orthe local Drug store but got tired of finding it out of stock so figured I'd check here. So happy to have found it here and for cheaper than I was paying anywhere else. I am 56 and have lots of gray around my face and this product provides gray coverage/root coverage for a good 4-5 weeks depending upon how quickly my hair grows...sometimes it goes crazy lol. Love Schwarzkopf and won't be changing anytime soon. This is the only box color that does not dry my hair out on the ends...something that I ran into with every box competitor color I tried. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good hair color.

Been using Schwarzkopf product for more than 25 years and they surely did grow old with me. I did cheat on them once in a while but always ended coming back, begging for something that will not disappoint me. Other brands and Henna didn't work well now that my hair is supposed to be grey and white (according to my roots), I needed to make sure that I had the right product that will cover the grey and not turn the white orange-ish. Again Schwarzkopf didn't let me down. That kit mix well, spread easy, cover everything and doesn't take time. End result is always perfect and doesn't hurt my hair on the process at all. I'll never cheat again, learned my lesson.
