I have used them all, any at home hair color that is on the market, I have tried. This is honestly the BEST hair dye on the market. Not only is it easy to use, it really leaves your hair shiny and has amazing gray coverage. If you're like me, I am not willing to spend over a hundred dollars every 4-6 weeks to touch up my roots, and in my 40's my hair is beyond gray. So this is an inexpensive fix and for root touch ups, I honestly don't notice any difference vs. the touch up I would receive at salon. Also, this hair color doesn't tend to fade, this is probably one of my favorite things about this. And the grays, come out the same color as the not grays, plus absolutely NO red undertones. If you are going to use it, and want the best results, it is best to brush it on. I have a hair color bowl and brush and use this to brush it. I know you're not supposed to wash your hair directly after, but I do and I never have any issue with the color holding. made my hair kind of feel healthy but didn’t really dye it, it washed out when I washed it 4 days after(it being permanent), Also if you still get it make sure all products are in box as I was missing 2 items out of 3 boxes

My original hair color was between really dark brown and light black. It has since gone gray. My daughter suggested dying it Expresso because it seemed close to my original hair color. I found Schwarzkopf Keratin 3.0 Expresso on Amazon and decided to try it. The pros: excellent product. Hair feels good. Covered gray perfectly. Even color. Looks natural. Definitely an excellent product. The cons: none really, except that the color is a little browner than what I was going for. That is not the product's fault. I am trying to find the right color to match what my hair used to be. So, because I love this product, I will see if Schwazkoph Keratin Color has something a little darker next time. ... show more

My hair is hard to match. It's one shade down from black but one shade up from dark ash brown. This is the only box shade color I have ever found that exactly matches my hair. The staying power is what you'd expect from box dye but I try to fill in w dry shampoo instead of washing every other day so the color lasts longer. I just have the occasional white hair but it covers well. Just be careful not to do the ends if you're using it after the first time. It will turn the ends jet black and it takes months and months for it to wash out to dark brown again. All in all, my favorite go to. ... show more

I found this to be the best affordable hair dye for home treatment. Fast and easy process and the smell isn't overwhelming. It does not wash out, not even if you wash your hair often (like myself), grey coverage is also great. Some reviews mentioned hair loss during the process and I have to say, I always lost a good amount of hair with any hair dye I've ever used but this is not in any way concerning since I used this brand for years and still have full hair. ... show more

My favorite hair coloring system. It’s so quick and easy, and the color is spot on. My favorite, Espresso, is the most like my natural color. It’s very rich, with not too much brassy tone. I do Keratin treatments in my hair, and this is like the bonus for super shiny and soft hair. I have used this product for several years. It colors my grey roots perfectly. The conditioner included in package helps coloring process to be non-drying. There is enough conditioner included to use in subsequent hair washings. Coloring instructions are easy to follow. Color lasts awhile.
