I decided to start DIY with hair color due to the high cost of the salon and the fact that I do single process--nothing fancy! So far, I have used this 3 times. I like the soft black color since it does not leave a cut off line if I only dye my roots. I think if I used the darker colors this might happen. The color basically lasts a long time. The frequency of coloring has to do with how long it takes for the grey roots to start growing out! The only downside is that the soft black color is hard to find. Can you get a ‘old or out of date’ hair color? I have used this brand for a while. I usually get a good 6 to 8 weeks out of it. But the last box I got have lasted for 2 weeks. Not sure why, this is the first time I’ve bought this and it happened but every time I was my hair it bleeds it’s been well over a month since I’ve dyed my hair it shouldn’t still be bleeding as a permanent dye. The color is still very black but the bleeding worries me it won’t last
