This is the best blue black hair dye I have found. Since I was young I hated the red tones that would show up when my hair dye started to fade. I always looked for cooler tones so that my black didn't turn red. I finally found blue black hair dye but I noticed that for some reason blue black seems to fade much more quickly at the root of my hair. That is when I began the long journey of finding the best blue black hair dye. I have tried them all and none compare to Schwarzkopf Live Intense Blue Black hair dye. It covers those gray stragglers and sticks to the roots better than any other brand. The blue in this dye will be more prominent when used on lighter hair but when you're in the sun even if you had darker hair you will see this glow of blue- no red tones even as the color fades and you're ready for a touch up. I have super long hair and there was plenty of dye to do my whole head which was surprising. I will definitely be sticking with this brand, even if it takes me here in the US a bit longer to get it shipped here. ... show more

Holy cow, this is the only color I’ll be purchasing from now on. The price point is phenomenal for this amazing quality. It hasn’t faded in weeks, the color is vibrant and the blue undertones are noticeable but not overdone or too much for business appropriate. My hair was dark brown almost black so I didn’t get much blue, but it was still noticeable. I really like how nice this made my hair look. I’ve noticed that the color does fall out in the shower but i haven’t noticed any fading just yet.

    • Not like it used to be, and no blue in it now…
I have used this hair color for many years but it was getting harder and harder to find since it was coming to the US from the UK. So I had to find something similar to the dark navy blue it used to give my hair. And then just recently I saw it here again by chance and I ordered excited to be able to use my favorite hair color. But sadly it left my hair black, not the beautiful navy blue. And it also left my hair very tangled! And I have noticed this problem with Schwartzkopf hair colors. But this tangled mess was really bad, and I followed the instructions (which only came in 5 languages, no English 🤭) and left the conditioner in for the recommended time and it was just horrible trying to untangle my hair. It’s nice and all and does make my hair a blue/black but it does not last long at all and and faded really quick. You can buy the same quality of blue black dye at Walmart
