No pan I have ever used has been this good, My old Scanpan is 15 years old and is in really great shape for using every day. I have a couple of nicks in the old one so decided to get a new one. Still use it for pan Pizzas though.

If I could afford it, all my pots and pans would be Scanpan (except for my beloved cast iron!). I have the medium size and this large skillet, plus the square griddle. All are insanely solid and the nonstick is hands down the best made I’ve ever encountered. Near perfectly even heat distribution on a gas range top, and if you have induction, this and other Scanpan products are built for it. These pans are a fair amount heavier than chain store mass market nonstick (though the comparison is almost absurd!) but not nearly as heavy enameled cast iron ware. The haptic top of the line does have the most ergonomic handles, for me anyway. ... show more

This pan is almost perfect to me. Very high quality. It heats evenly, is super easy to clean, nothing sticks, the surface is extremely durable and metal-utensil friendly, it’s large enough To cook for a family of four adults. My one wish is that it had a helper handle opposite the main handle because when it’s loaded with food it is quite heavy. Overall I love this pan and have used it almost daily since it arrived. Seriously, Scanpans are worth every cent. They're hilariously slippery and super easy to clean. The only downside, specific to the 12.5" pan, is that it's pretty heavy and it's not easy to flip your food with a flick of the wrist. I absolutely love this pan. It is incredibly well made, durable, and super easy to clean. I can literally cook steaks, burgers and eggs with absolutely no butter or oil, and the food comes right off the pan. It conducts heat very well. It's worth the price.
