Scanpan has become my go-to for cookware. This is the best non-stick surface I have ever used. Better yet, it is rugged. I started with a skillet several years ago and the cooking surface on it is just as good as the day I got it. None of this god-knows-what flaking off after using it for a month. Well worth the premium price! Only thing I would say is a negative on them is that I wish they would offer more of a selection in this line. Best pots and pans I’ve owned. Thick pan walls for better distribution of heat. Lighter because it’s ceramic coated aluminum than similar pans in heavier metal construction. Works as ceramic coated rather than Teflon coated that can produce toxic fumes if over heated. Not cheap but lasts years.

I have been a fan of Scanpans. I chose the Classic (over Professional, which was approximately $30 more) because I like the visibility provided by the glass lid. However, not only is the knob on this lid tricky to assemble, but also liquid gets trapped under the knob assembly in cooking and in washing. I contacted Scanpan hoping to exchange the lid for a solid metal one, or learn of a fix, because this is an unacceptable place for moisture/mold/bacteria to accumulate. They told me if I didn't like the lid, I should buy another one on their website. When I questioned this response, they did not reply. Positively the best cookware we have ever owned, does not warp like others. With a glass top stove a warped pan has a hot spot when warped. The product is not cheap but is high quality!
