5 stars. These filters also fit a Crofton brand water pitcher.
Crofton branded pitchers and filters are occasionally sold at a grocery store called ALDI. I'm running out of Crofton filters and wanted some replacements. They're not available at ALDI these days so I came looking at Amazon. Amazon does not specifically list any Crofton branded filters. Since the Sapphire filters in the website's picture look identical to the actual Crofton filter I'm replacing, I took a chance and bought a 3 pack. I'm pleased to say these fit my Crofton pitcher perfectly. Five stars. The Crofton pitcher and filters are generic and do not list any model number for either on their packaging. The Sapphire filters model number is SAWTERFLIT3 (where the number at the end indicates the number of filters in a pack - in my case 3). ... show more

I don't know what the negative reviews are for. We Have extremely hard water and these work exactly like a Brita filter the instructions to soak are exactly like Brita the water is not grey metallic or weird tasting, yes they have a band around them to make a seal it worked perfectly with my Brita filter there is no leaking. I only bought three to test them but I will be using these from now on in my opinion they are just as good as the Brita filters and a cheaper alternative. Some people say they filter slowly and they will if you don't follow the soaking instructions some say they filter fast I think they run a little faster than a new Brita but so what if they are doing the job, and don't you think if they were not there would be far more negative reviews Pur user seem to be giving1 star reviews so perhaps there is an issue there I don't know. Bottom line is we have used Brita for over 20 years and always used their filters from now on we will be using these. The only thing I found is that my old style filter change indicator does not fit the top of these but that is what calendars are for. This is not a paid review but a genuine observation from a long time Brita filter user. ... show more

These filters are better than bottled water.
I have been using these replacement pitcher filters for six months now. Each filter purifies water for two months, then I replace it with a new one. The water after the jug is clean and there is no scale in the electric kettle. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that when I bought clean bottled water, after I boiled it in the kettle there was scale. And after these filters there is no scale in the kettle. Use filters and be healthy! ... show more

I just repurchased this product, so I feel that it deserves an honest review. I really like this product and think that it is just as good ad the name brand water filters. I tried those filters that leave next to zero in the water, they only last a week or two and then they start to smell like awful. These filters are AMAZING compared to those. I'm using a generic Brita style pitcher and these filters fit perfectly. I use them for about two months and the water still tastes great. The water filters fairly quickly, but filtering does take time. I would be concerned if it was super fast. It is a great price, for what I consider to be a better filter. Bottom line: I will keep buying ... show more

Amazing filters
I've been ordering these filters since 2020 as I have a knock-off Brita. Never had a problem, they work amazingly well.

A few extra steps save you $
These are very similar to the "old" Brita filters in the sense you have to soak them before using. Just changed them for the first time and the water tastes quite good. To tell you the truth I can't taste the difference between this and the Brita filtered water. They both are really just activated charcoal filters. Yes they do strain the water slower but that is because of less slots in the filters themselves. Follow the directions that come with them and they will work just fine. So a ten minute soak, a ten second rinse and run two pitchers trough them and the taste will surprise you. Oh and they fit my ten year old Brita pitcher just fine. Worth the extra steps for shaving about 33% off the price of three Brita filters ... show more
