  • Zero's out water, but not all water should be zero'd.
Style: Replacement Filters Size: 4-Pack Color: White
These filters are pretty darn great, they do as advertised. In comparison to Brita and other filters, nothing I have seen gets the count down to zero. The best application for these filters is for tap water, as tap water contains a plethora of chemicals, metals, and bacteria one may not want to ingest. Be it drinking tap water, or, cooking with tap water, this gives us the peace of mind that all the nasty stuff is out, and the digital meter is there to prove it. One you probably want to try to avoid is using this to filter spring or mineral water. For example, FIJI water and Evian water are probably 2 of the highest quality sources of water on the planet, they are filled with minerals and other beneficial dissolved solids that took thousands of years to get there through the filtering process. Silica, magnesium, calcium, etc, all of these are dissolved solids and you would NOT want to filter water like this with a zero water filter, if you do, you will be negating all the wonderful benefits of these types of water. Tap water, lake water, stream water, etc, this is where these units shine, and we feel are an absolute necessity given the horrendous quality of most water pipes, and most lakes and streams near any type of industry. We have found that the original filter that comes with these units lasts a bit longer than the replacement filters, nothing too out of the ordinary, but the water definitely starts to slow quicker on the replacements than the one that comes with the pitcher. This filter is a staple in our home, and gives us the peace of mind to cook, drink, and make ice cubes with out town water. We are mostly water after all, so the quality of what you drink, and just as importantly, what you don't drink, can be a very large contributing factor to ones overall health. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • The BEST Water Filtration Product
Style: Replacement Filters Size: 2-Pack Color: White
I've owned a Zero Water system for years. I drink a LOT of water. Water is actually my preferred drink. The Zero Water filter really does what it claims and removes all the garbage from my water. My Township puts a ton of chlorine in our city water. Sometimes when I turn the tap on, the smell of chlorine is enough to knock me off my feet. The Zero Water filter removes all of the chlorine from the water. One of the best other benefits owning a Zero Water system is NO BOTTLES. No heavy cases of water to carry, no half empty bottles all over the house, no bottles getting into our landfills, or thrown out of car windows, littering the sides of our roads, or dropped beside park trails, polluting our parks and nature trails. ... show more

  • Just Perfection!!
Style: Replacement Filters Size: 2-Pack Color: White
First I want to say I saw one review so far from one woman that says that she opened the protective cap on the filters and they were wet. Did she NOT READ the wrapping around the filters themselves?? It Clearly States that they run purified water through them to test them and there may be condensation inside the lid. Oh My Gosh people read ALL OF THE PACKAGING. My ZeroWater system has been working Perfectly since the day I bought it. Sometimes when it reads a little high like a three or four it may only need to have the whole system itself washed out. You need to do this regularly in between changing the filter. Because if you have dirty water before like I do the water makes the picture itself dirty in the top reservoir. Another thing is to always check your seal on the filter and make sure it's not leaking. I have not found anything with this system that is Unsatisfactory from the filters to the system itself I have the 32 cup system myself. Again let me say again People need to read all of the writing on the boxes and the wrapping around the filters themselves. ... show more

  • Great filters, TERRIBLE containers.
Style: Replacement Filters Size: 8-Pack Color: White
These are great filters. Leaves a clean taste to the terrible water here in Omaha Ne. I highly advise buying them. Not as good as reverse osmosis but its better than lugging jugs to a store and waiting around. I want to keep this to the point so I'll make a list of things to know. - THIS IS NOT A SURVIVAL FILTER. ONLY USE WITH CLEAN AND TREATED WATER - This will last 30 days at the most with chlorinated city water. If you taste pool water, its past time time to change out - filters only do about 30 gallons so I wouldn't advise for anything over 2 or 3 people. Filters will last longer with treated but non chlorinated water. - Rinse the filer exterior with water. There can be some fibers from the - Be aware that its not cheaper to buy in bulk. A lot of times lesser amounts of these filters are cheaper - The black spots in the reservoir are not mold, they are carbon from the filter - The cap on the filter may be wet but that is because they rinse the filter so you don't have to - Screw in the filter firmly, fill the reservoir a little , watch it to see if it leaks and needs tightened more. Its a bit more of a turn than you may think ... show more

  • OEM filters - ZeroWater is the best
Style: Replacement Filters Size: 6-Pack Color: White
I've had a ZeroWater pitcher for quite a while - 3 years. Actually I've had a series of the pitchers. They don't last and the design makes them very unwieldy in your hand. If you're a klutz you'll drop the thing. Learn to deal with it. It's the protection from the filter that matters. If you read the specs you'll see why the filters can cost $15 a piece, or more. To me it's worth it. I live in a Cold War period apartment (built 1949-1955 or so), and the landlord hasn't told me if they've replaced the plumbing. A lot of these places still use 75-year-old pipes. Anyway in some areas there're nasty things in the groundwater, supposedly at safe levels. Hexavalent Chromium is one of those things. The ZeroWater removes Cr6 and lots of other nasties. If you buy the filters, shop carefully since pricing is inconsistent across the board. This particular 6-pack divides out to $10.71 per filter. There are 10-packs that cost appreciably more per filter. Like any other filter it makes for clean taste but you get more metals removed than any other pitcher filter on the market. It's worthwhile - peace of mind. ... show more
