Works great, people hard on ryobi but my wife has a set and it’s in the house so I use it a lot (don’t want to get my Milwaukee out of the shop) and it all does a great job. The fan mister we take camping, charge lasts for hours and keeps us cool while it’s hot!

The media could not be loaded. got it for my girls 🐓 I think it helps cool down there run and they enjoy scratching for bugs when the ground gets wet , happy content lady's mean more eggs in this heat , i used a 5 gallon pail and it last for hrs the battery is good for about 4/5 hrs perfect for the hottest part of the day the fan part swivels so you can point it higher or lower and 2 misting ports . This fan has saved us on many a hot summer day during summer swim season. We fill a bucket half full with ice and just a small bit of water, and have a misting AC unit for hours. It's easy enough to transport, has held up well over the year we've had it, and has never had an issue. What's best is its battery is compatible with all of our battery operated Ryobi items. Super easy to set up, and the 18V battery lasts way longer than expected. The misting feature is perfect for keeping cool on hot days, and it’s compact enough to take anywhere.     • The fan itself works well, but...
The good news is that the fan itself works well. I set it on a chair about 6-7 feet (2m) away from our bistro table and it provides a nice cooling mist. Since our water here in Texas is high in calcium, I fill a bucket with softened water from inside the house rather than using the optional garden hose connector. With a high fan setting and a low mist setting, it consumes about 1 gallon (4 liters) of water per hour. The not so great part is that the supplied 1.5Ah battery will only run 2.5-3 hours on a charge, and the charger is similarly weak, taking a good 4-5 hours to fully recharge. I'd recommend the purchase of at least one 4.0Ah battery and a fast charger (Ryobi makes both items). Of course, this results in a significantly higher cost. Do not expect the fan to cool an entire American-sized patio. We normally have 2-3 people sitting at our tall bistro table and it's fine for that. Windy days will of course affect the fan's airstream so placement of the fan is important for best results. The relatively weak battery/charger combo is the main reason for docking a star from my rating. ... show more

I bought myself the best fathers day gift ever. Use this for soccer and swim meets and the battery lasts exceptionally long. I like the small charger for travel. Having the misting feature is a fantastic addition.
