With 3 ground mounted wheels, an edge guide, and blade indicator, making clean edging lines have never been easier. Equipped with a push button start makes getting to work quick and easy. The edger has 4 position single point depth adjustment from 0.5 in. to 2.0 in., and the rear drop wheel allows you to edge along a curb with ease. More features are: a variable blade speed control, the handle rotates for edging at difficult angles, and the handle can lay flat for compact wall storage. The integrated debris cleaner makes clearing out build up from the blade guard quick and convenient. When it is time to change out a blade, it is super easy with spindle-lock, on board wrench and blade storage.

It was horrible It’s was weak, the biggest problem was once you put the battery in it was extremely difficult to remove. We (3 people trying) couldn’t do it. Had to. Pry it out with a small crowbar!

Just got it, works well and easy. The package arrived with a neat tear in the top and unprofessional taping. Upon inspection I realized the battery and charger are missing. Buyer beware, I didn't see that it says tool only. The battery is $100 and you can buy the tool and battery for $200 at Home Depot. This distributor takes the batteries out and sells them. They steal your battery. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company ... show more

The arm holding the wheel on the left bent. Ryobi referred me to a repair shop 90 miles away. I have 4 Ryobi tools. I will not buy Ryobi again.

Great item, but huge disappointment. It was the edger I wanted cuz already had battery & charger. Found the same edger at HD, for $50 less and it included a battery & charger.

Think twice before buying this! Ryobi does not manufacture replacement blades for this edger, effectively making it a single-season tool. While you might come across a few off-brand blades that *somewhat* fit, be ready to spend twice as long edging your lawn. Don't just take my word for it—try finding a replacement blade and see for yourself! ... show more
