I use grass hay for bedding in my coop. The birds love to play in it and eat it. But they would pull the hay out of the nest boxes. I saw these liners and tried them. Instant success!!! The nest liners are comfortable and warm, and keep the eggs clean. Except for a few industrious birds, these liners are staying in the nests, lessening my work in the coop. These nest box liners perfect for my young hens who just started laying 6 weeks ago. Easy to clean, perfectly sized, and ideal thickness and comfort for my hens. They can be "fluffed up" by the caretaker or by some of the hens if preferred. Straight out of the box they are a cushy inch or so thick.
