This chicken door is awesome. Easy to install and worked fine from the get-go. I've had it a couple of months now, set to open and close at sunrise and sunset with a 20-minute delay. I am very happy with it, and my friends that have come over to hang out with me and the birds always get an laugh out of how cool it is. It is expensive and does not have any sort of remote control, hence the four-star review and not five. Perhaps Run-Chicken could add that functionality via a firmware/software update. We don't have to rock paper scissors for who needs to close or open the chicken coop anymore. The girls love it and we've had zero issues with old or new birds learning how to use it. Extremely well designed and so simple. Treat your self!

Great chicken coop door, regardless of price. The only thing that I wish is that they sold upgrade kits to make existing coop doors that the sell solor powered. I would rather buy a solar powered kit for my older Run-Chicken door than have to buy a whole new door.
