We have had this trashcan in our kitchen for several years and love the large size. The lid had taken a beating from kids over the years, but it was an easy replacement and we're good as new. This is one of largest residential trash cans without being so large that it looks out of place in the average size kitchen. Yes, it can be considered "Untouchable" when you drop trash into the receptacle with this lid, but, only if the item has some weight to it. If it's paper you're disposing of, for instance, you'll still need to push it through the slot. ... show more
