This pedestal works well for us in our basement application. We recently purchased a new, compact tumble dryer and chose this item to raise the unit to workable height. The pedestal is a simple 28” square dual surface table with storage shelf that more than adequately supports our ~135 lb/61 kg appliance. It was shipped with appropriate protective plastic and styrofoam and was easy to assemble. We’re likely to buy a second one of these should the need arise. I heartily recommend this pedestal.

This was extremely easy to assemble and very sturdy. I didn't need any extra tools to put together and was able to do it by myself. I was also pleased that it doesn't seek to add any noise when drying. All In all a great product and did exactly what I needed.

Keep in mind, as the legs mount on the outside and the bolt heads poke out further, makes this wider than 28". Looks like they measured the platform without considering the legs and bolt heads. Other than that, once built it seems pretty solid.

It needs a thicker gauge steel...my washer is heavy and the unit shakes a lot when spinning...could have been made better. I will have to reinforce these.

This came well packed and very easy to assemble, i got a very big and heavy washer, it weights more than 400lbs when fully loaded and i have to find a stand with highest weight capacity in the market, This stand has 700lbs weight capacity! it fit perfectly and very sturdy and quiet while my washer is running. The 16'' height increase really helps my back pain. Extra room underneath is also a plus, i can store all of my laundry products and save lot of space. Will be buying another one for my dryer.

Pedestals from the machine manufacturers are SOOO expensive - ridiculous! I decided to try this and it shakes around a little during the spin cycle, but is generally working pretty good. Now having said that, I've thought about trying to bolster the sides with some plywood or something for the long term, AND this is all gravy really because I have an extremely heavy all-in-one washer dryer unit (not a laundry center, the Euro kind that actually washes and dries your clothes all in one machine). So for as well as this pedestal is working with that heavy machine, and all the water etc. sloshing around, I think if you plan to use it for just one machine or the other - you will like it! I love being able to store shoes and other laundry room crapola on the shelf under the machine too. It's perfect.

Disappointed with Amazon's recommendation. I usually trust their picks, but this product fell short. It seems you get what you pay for, but this pedestal couldn't handle our washer. It wobbled and shook a lot during the spin cycle, making everything noisier, even with cushion pads. I doubt its 700-pound capacity, as it struggled with our 200-pound washer. Be careful with the nuts provided, they do not lock in place and constantly needed to be retightened. It might work for a dryer, but not for a washer. We had similar issues with the CMXIKJ Pedestal, which looked better but wobbled too. Then we tried the upgraded EZ Laundry Pedestal, and it was a huge improvement. Despite the higher cost, I highly recommend it. No wobbling, and it looks and performs better.
