I was very nervous about purchasing this for my son‘s birthday. I had had several reviews that said that it was very complicated to put together and a couple said it took 5,6, even 7 hours, but he got it put together in under an hour he seasoning it. It works fine. He likes it. He is excited to use it. He likes that the griddle comes on so he can clean it. I think it was a great value for the money it’s plenty big enough for even his family and they’ve got three children and two adults heats up quickly. I think he’s gonna really enjoy it a very good birthday gift. ... show more

    • the stand and cooking results
Stand is kind of flimsy. They tried to put an ethsetic feel to it by making the front legs curved but the problem with that is when assembling the front panels there are issues with the holes lining up. You will need to go back and loosen the channels but if the legs to the channels are over torqued the sheetmetal bends and it's tough to bend back and align the holes. Maybe note to loosely install channels prior to plate install or just make the front legs straight. Also the lip that seats over the bottom channel on the top plate appears to be too low and preloading it on top so to install the spice rack seams to be an issue. Maybe this is a result of the front legs bent but either the Manufactured part is wrong or something was not taken in consideration for the sheet metal thickness. But now that I have cooked some meals on it. LOVE IT!...my wife thinks I can cook now. Do you need a thermostat...ehh...not really...it heats up quick so put your burners on low...that griddle gets hot but the meals off it are great ... show more

It works very well. More than I gave it credit for. Amazing. Didn't take long to assemble. Just used it for the first time. Easy to use and clean. I'm glad I ordered this product.

Awful experience building this to discover one of the burners doesn’t even work. It took me 3 hours to build because the directions are terrible. So not only does it not work fully, it doesn’t look like the above ads. The gas line is in the way of the shelf. Mine is missing the hooks because you can’t build it with them. ... show more

    • Works well but terrible instructions and labels need much improvement!!!
I would not recommend for someone who doesn’t like putting things together! The instructions are not very detailed and call for pieces that are not labeled… pieces will be slightly different but have no letters or numbers so we spent a lot of time putting pieces together and the taking them back cause they were in the wrong place. We got it together and it works ok…. But if I had know the instructions and markings were going to be so badly done, I would have bought a different griddle! ... show more
