  • Quality grill
Very nice grill!!!!

  • Great buy.
I’m really happy with this grill. The instructions aren’t the best. But as long as you put a grill together before, it’s pretty much the same process. I put it together by myself and it took me about 3 hours. I highly recommend this grill. It’s very big. Heck I think you can fit about 4 -6 slabs of ribs on here depending on their size. The burners don’t go out even when it’s windy. My old grill would go out at the slightest breeze. It’s very easy to clean you just pull out the grease catcher dispose of the grease. Slide out the tray spray it the water hose. Put everything back in, and you’re good to go. I cook pretty often for my family so the clean up process is very quick and easy. Again if you’re the market for a new grill. I highly recommend this one. ... show more

  • Great Grill for the Money
This grill appears to be well made and a bargain compared to others. We assembled it ourselves and the instructions were pretty good, although there were several areas that were a bit unclear. It took us the better part of the morning to accomplish, but all the parts were there and there were no dings or dents to speak of. Everything worked as expected on the first try and we've not tried a cook on it yet, that is planned for this weekend. ... show more

  • Not a good product
Do not buy this grill, i paid $500 for this awful grill, burns way too hot, burner covers are too small, even on low it will burn your food, on high it will burn down your porch, i have been grilling for 40 years, worst grill i ever had, second time i used it igniter wouldnt work, some of the parts when i put it together were not a good match , had to use a hammer and grinder to get it to match up, thank goodness i know how to work on stuff and have tools, do not buy this grill, i would send it back but it took forever to put together, i woild tather take it out back and throw it in the lake ... show more

  • Almost 5 stars.....
I retired a 30 year old Weber Silver grill and after a lot of shopping around and comparing features, I decided to go with the Royal Gourmet SG6002R grill. The grill arrived undamaged, and I started the assembly process. Instructions were good, and after 1.5 hours of assembly I had a fully assembled grill. BTW---assembly requires two people for one or two steps. You will also need a 'very thin' wrench to adequately tighten the casters onto the legs---a normal open end wrench is too thick to get to the nut. I then proceeded to hook up the propane tank, and began testing. I then discovered that one of burners was extremely difficult to light, often times, only one side of that burner would light. I took apart the burner and observed through the tiny gas holes what looked like some paper INSIDE the burner tube. After 10 minutes of trying to pull it out, SUCCESS!! See the pictures of what was inside. After re-assembling, everything worked BEAUTIFULLY! Other than the paper inside the burner tube, my only other complaint is that if it rains and the grill is uncovered, the grill itself and the cabinet below will accumulate water. After inspecting why, it appears that the rear of the hood is angled in such a way that the water trickles into the heat escape port in the rear. A little drip edge on the hood in that area would have solved the problem---maybe a future improvement to the design. My cover is arriving tomorrow, so the rain won't be a problem for me in the future. For now, I am very pleased with the purchase. ... show more

  • Had a dent that didnt happen through the packaging.
This is a beautiful grill for the money. Had a dent in the side but its mostly hidden bt the side shelf. I beat it back with a hammer and spray painted it. I was at the hardware store yesterday and seen tiny 3 burner grills that costed more and werent stainless steel. The space between flavor bars is a bit wide, about 3 to 4". Im going to add flavor bars in between since i love grease fires in my grill. The thermostat has moisture in it from the rain so it will need a cover. ... show more

  • Nice Grill but Poorly Manufactured and Preassembled
After reading about damaged parts in other reviews I was skeptical but with a black Friday deal I bought it. When it was delivered by UPS, the very large box had a lot of damage. To my surprise there was no damage from shipping. However, the lid for the side burner had a small dent. Since this part was well packed the dent had to come from the factory pre-dented. I was able to hammer out most of the dent to be unnoticeable. Also, the thermometer had come loose from the cover and its nut and washer were stuck between the cover and heat shield. I finally fished them out (the heat shield is riveted to the cover...no way to remove) only the find that the nut and bolt couldn't be placed on the thermometer since the thermometer hole in the heat shield was too small. In other words, the thermometer is attached (in the factory) prior to the heat shield being riveted to the cover. It can't be reattached without damaging the heat shield. I solved this by making a collar to fill the gap between the heat shield and cover and put the washer and nutover the heat shield hole. The directions claim 40 minutes to assemble. It took 30 minutes just to unbox all the parts. I spent 4 hours assembling the grill mainly because parts fitted together so poorly. I even had to drill some larger holes to get parts to fit. Attaching the side shelves takes 12 bolts each. But because of the poor fit I had to loosen bolts to readjust the pieces to get the shelves to look good mated to the grill. Lots of time was wasted to loosen and tighten bolts to get it right. The painted parts have some thick spots in corners but at least there was no chipped paint. Once done it looks good and seems to work well. I can't speak for its longevity yet. It was a good price so I am so far mostly satisfied with my purchase, but it should have been a better assembly experience. ... show more
