The product was absolutely ridiculous to assemble, took 4.5 hours and I'm not new to assembling a grill. The finished product while it looks nice turned out to be a dangerous fire hazard for me. The heat shields are to small for the flames at the lowest flame setting, I had fires every time I tried to cook something. Some of the flames were so large and out of control I singed hair off my arms. I purchased 4 inch heat shields but they did not help. the only way I was able to cook was to only light half of the burners and cook the meat on the side the burners were off, this took way to long. Unfortunately for me this grill is useless and not safe. ... show more

If this was double the price, it would have gotten a 2 to 3 out of 5 stars. For the money, it is hard to beat what you get. Plenty of cooking space, burns hot, and even looks nice as well. Assembly for the most part is straight forward and you can expect it to take at least an hour or so. I highly recommend having a friend/family member help you as some parts of assembly will give you a headache doing it by yourself. Unfortunately, mine arrived with a few dents but its on the back side so at least I dont have to look at it. The metal is very thin and a bit on the flimsy side. Anyone looking for Weber quality, you are going to be saddened. All in all, a good bang for the buck grill. ... show more

This grill appears to be well made and a bargain compared to others. We assembled it ourselves and the instructions were pretty good, although there were several areas that were a bit unclear. It took us the better part of the morning to accomplish, but all the parts were there and there were no dings or dents to speak of.     • Nice Grill but Poorly Manufactured and Preassembled

After reading about damaged parts in other reviews I was skeptical but with a black Friday deal I bought it. When it was delivered by UPS, the very large box had a lot of damage. To my surprise there was no damage from shipping. However, the lid for the side burner had a small dent. Since this part was well packed the dent had to come from the factory pre-dented. I was able to hammer out most of the dent to be unnoticeable. Also, the thermometer had come loose from the cover and its nut and washer were stuck between the cover and heat shield. I finally fished them out (the heat shield is riveted to the cover...no way to remove) only the find that the nut and bolt couldn't be placed on the thermometer since the thermometer hole in the heat shield was too small. In other words, the thermometer is attached (in the factory) prior to the heat shield being riveted to the cover. It can't be reattached without damaging the heat shield. I solved this by making a collar to fill the gap between the heat shield and cover and put the washer and nutover the heat shield hole. The directions claim 40 minutes to assemble. It took 30 minutes just to unbox all the parts. I spent 4 hours assembling the grill mainly because parts fitted together so poorly. I even had to drill some larger holes to get parts to fit. Attaching the side shelves takes 12 bolts each. But because of the poor fit I had to loosen bolts to readjust the pieces to get the shelves to look good mated to the grill. Lots of time was wasted to loosen and tighten bolts to get it right. The painted parts have some thick spots in corners but at least there was no chipped paint. Once done it looks good and seems to work well. I can't speak for its longevity yet. It was a good price so I am so far mostly satisfied with my purchase, but it should have been a better assembly experience. ... show more
