Excellent value - exceeded my expectations Assembly was straightforward and took me about 2–3 hours by myself. Everything fit together well, and all the parts were included. The grill heats up quickly and reaches high temperatures with no problem. The burners heat evenly, and I was able to get a nice sear on burger during the first cook. The side burner is a great bonus, and I really like the flat prep shelf on the opposite side, it gives you plenty of room for plates, seasoning, or utensils. The stainless steel finish looks really nice. The built-in thermometer has been accurate enough for everyday grilling, and the cabinet below provides convenient storage for the propane tank and accessories. I’ve attached a few photos after assembly and the first cook. The grill looks fantastic on the deck and has already gotten compliments. This grill is a Great value, Easy assembly with clear instructions, Heats up fast and cooks evenly, Spacious cooking surface, Side burner and prep shelf are genuinely useful, Attractive stainless steel finish. This grill looks really good in person. The stainless steel outside gives it a clean look, and it’s easy to wipe down after cooking, which I appreciate. Putting it together took me about an hour and a half since I did it alone. It’s not difficult, just takes some time. If you have someone helping you hold pieces, it would definitely go faster. Once it’s set up, it works the way you’d expect. It heats up pretty quickly and there’s plenty of room to cook. The side burner is actually one of best parts — it fits my wok, so I can stir-fry veggies or make something quick while waiting for the meat to finish on the grill. That’s been really handy. Overall, it’s a solid grill that looks nice, does the job well, and makes cooking outside more convenient. I’m happy with it and would recommend it. ... show more

I bought this BBQ Grill as it seemed to be about the best of the cheapo one. It is often hard to tell from the Amazon description how a product might perform. I use a simple set of criteria. If it has more that 10% 1 star reviews or if it has less than 4 stars overall, I don't buy that product. At time f writing, this one had 10% 1 stars and 4.5 overall. So it just met my criteria. It was delivered in good condition and within Amazon's declared delivery time. Assembly was easy with god instructions that I found very eay to follow. SOme parts are not made of stainless steel and all the parts could have bee made of slightly thisler material in my opinion but then, it was $294 before tax -- sp okay. I have only just set up my new BBQ and I won;t have a chance to cook anything on it for a day or so. When I have done that (and eaten what I cook), I shall update this review. 2 WEEKS LATER I have now used the BBQ a couple of times. It heats up rapidly. I got to 650° within a few minutes which was fine for burning off earlier residues. AFter that, I had trouble keeping the temperature down to 375°. To do this I had to turn off two burners and reduce the remaining two to minumum. When I did htis it remained between 375 and 400°. Obviously I can open the lid and cool things down but I'd rather have better temperature control. 18 MONTHS OR SO On The flame disperser supports have all but rusted through.Soon they will rust off completely, see pic. I have used this grill lightly maybe 20 times in 18 months. I am disgusted that such a product could be rendered USELESS in such a short time. Sure, I can fix it but I feel tha this should not have happened. The second problem is with the burner controls. These have very little control range. They are either full on or at minimum. So the grill is either running at 300 degrees or 600. Neither of which is much use for grilling chicken. Now, today I would not reccomend this grill to anyone except a scrap metal dealer. MARCH 2025 The rust and degredation ov the winter has taken its toll on my grill. The three new photos show just how this grill has deteriorated. Rust is everywhere. Remeber I have only owned this for just about 2 years. I live in southern NC. I am about to try and repaint my grill. I expect to need to replace it within 2 more years. To say I am disapointed would be an understatement. I vcannot reccomend this model. ... show more

Good grill at good price. Good -sized cooking surface. The only problem I have with it is that the flames are very, close to the cooking surface so you may have to keep the temperature lower than usual to avoid flame-ups.

Last Sunday the weather was perfect, so our family and some friends went for a lakeside barbecue—and this propane gas grill made the whole experience smooth and genuinely enjoyable. What impressed us most was the speed. With lots of kids around, waiting is not an option, and this grill heated up and started cooking so much faster than even quick-light charcoal. Everyone got hot food quickly, which kept the gathering stress-free. We grilled fish, lamb skewers, corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and more. Everything cooked evenly and tasted delicious—everyone loved the food and felt truly satisfied by the end. It also felt safer and cleaner to use. The flame is easy to control, so we could adjust heat depending on what we were cooking. Afterward, cleanup was simple thanks to the grease management design, and the cooking grates were easy to wipe down. The large cooking area was a big plus for feeding two families at once, and the built-in thermometer helped us stay on track. Assembly was straightforward, and the overall build quality feels solid and durable. When we’re done, I just cover it with a cloth and store it under the outdoor eaves. The listing on Amazon says it is a Sophia & William 4-Burner Propane Gas BBQ Gril. What I received is a Captiva Designs. Looks just like the picture so it appears they changed the manufacturer but did not update the listing. Burner controls are smooth and grills well but the temperature gage has no gasket or seal allowing smoke and grease to escape and immediately discolor the hood. The picture is after just 3 uses. I tried to clean it but it is baked on solid and nothing I have will remove it. I contacted the distributor (alphamarts.com) and their response was to clean often. The proper response would have been to supply a gasket that seals the thermostat opening. I went to the hardware store and purchased a sheet of high temp gasket material, cut out and installed two gaskets (due to hood curvature) and will see if the issue is cured. If not, I add high temp RTV to the gaskets which will make it problematic in the future when I have to replace the gage. So it works well, but the hood on the 20 year old BBQ grill I replaced looks better than this brand-new hood. 12/27/24 update - I just cooked a tri-tip on the grill and the gaskets worked. No further hood discoloration. So I am now quite pleased with the grill, I just highly recommend the addition of thermostat gaskets prior to initial use. ... show more
