I love to row at the gym, so naturally I'm comparing this to rowers costing 10X as much. The machine is sturdy and well built and sliding action is very smooth, no complaints. While the rower appears to be rather short, it is more than adequate for me at 5'3" with room to spare (I imagine taller people would do just fine.) The "magnetic" resistance takes a little getting used to after using high end water and fan rowers, but after my first 30 minute workout I was getting into it. The resistance is more than adequate for my needs, I felt like I got a good workout even at resistance level 10 (it goes to 16.) The digital display is very rudimentary, and doesn't include a HR monitor, but of course if you have a fitness watch that doesn't really matter. There is a ledge to hold your device so you can watch videos while rowing, so that more than makes up for it. The seat wasn't quite as comfortable as gym quality equipment, but not too bad, either. Ditto the foot pedals, you can't adjust the straps to go lower on your feet if you have small feet (but I have big feet, size 9, so it works fine for me.) Assembly was pretty straightforward, everything was clearly illustrated and intuitive. It justs takes a little time to insert and tighten every bolt. Overall, for less than $200 with the coupon, and free Prime delivery, this was a great deal. The quality is higher than I expected, even if it lacks a few bells and whistles. It is a perfect addition to my home gym.

I have been wanting to add a rowing machine to my home gym for quite a while, finally decided to shop on amazon and found this product has great reviews, so decided to try this. and I'm very happy with my purchase, the package was heavy and needed 2 people to lift to move it to the workout area. and everything was very well packaged, it came with every thing needed to assemble, and took approximately 30 min to complete assembly, pretty quick and 1 person without any help. the rowing machine itself it very sturdy and smooth, i already have been using it everyday and it is great addon. lower resistance levels seems very easy, may be i use it if i want to warm up quickly, but i have been using 12-16 resistance levels which gives me the workout needed. the glider moves very smoothly and the hand grippers as well. foot pedals are adequately sized and grips well. overall foot print for the machine is also small, and can be easily stowed away, i wish the display has more options and slightly bigger with some graphics. other than that everything else is great, and i hope it lasts long and continuous to give me nice full body workout everyday.

It was simple to assemble and went quickly. I'm not that handy, so it impressed me that I could get it up and running with just a few basic parts to put together. The machine's adjustable handlebars, pedals, and console let me customize my configuration until it feels right. This is one feature that I value. The fact that this rowing machine can use my entire body without putting too much strain on my joints is another advantage. I adore that I can do my strength and aerobic training at the same time. I also like its quiet, seamless operation, which allows me to work out late at night or early in the morning without disturbing anyone else in the house.
