Bought this after having the spectre intake on my 2020 ram for a few months, the spectre intake is garbage the intake falls off after almost every drive, I did everything possible to keep it bolted on and it fell off everytime, bought this intake because it was cheap and it’s 100 times better. Very easy to install. Made my truck sound like a race car when stepping on the pedal. Nice thing is its very quiet at take off and cruising speed, until you put the metal to the pedal and wow it takes off and sounds great. Don't need those exhaust pipe upgrades now. And my mileage went up by 2. Would be more except im always stepping on it to hear the rumble from the engine, sounds tough! Well worth every penny. ... show more

    • Box could have been better……
The media could not be loaded. Metal box seem cheaply made. Never fit perfectly together but I made it work…. Sensor hole was wrong for one of the sensor modules. Made it work also.

This would not fit into factory pegs like it was supposed to. Looked like one of holes was off by a full hole. Ended up returning

    • Easy install
Item arrived with no damage to packaging or contents. All items were in the box with clear instructions. Installing was quick and easy with simple tools. Instructions call for threadlocker in a couple of steps, make sure to have on hand beforehand.

    • Has always been good till now, really bad construction will not stay in place
This has always been a good product till this purchase. I opened the box and little did I know I would have to use the last air intake to make this work and I would have to customize the vehicle to allow this to fit and even then it still is not built to fit smoothly into place. You will have to cut on your truck to make it fit. this product has lost a lot of quality from just a few years back we I first started using the brand. Very disappointed. After it was finally installed it keeps coming loose, this is a terrible product DON'T BUY THIS YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND AGGRAVATED!!!! I will never buy from Rough Country again. ... show more

    • Definitely not a drop-in replacement
The air box won't even remotely line up with the stud's in the truck. You're suppose to use the existing studs and grommets, but either the box is bent or the holes were drilled wrong. Either way, this unit will not go in as directed. When installing the PVC elbow for the vacuum line, it snapped off halfway in. Very little resistance was being applied when this happened. And lastly, when taking this piece of junk off to install the original box, one of the 4 inch clamp bolts broke. This has to be one of the worst engineered parts I've ever purchased. Would not recommend. Pay the extra and get the K&N. ... show more
