PERFFECT in every way. The double blade is most important and it crushes frozen whole strawberries to a slushy or a smoothie. Its lightweight 72 oz case is so easy to handle, and the pouring spout is great to prevent spills. I didnt find it too loud, And the suction to keep it in place is super strong. I sat it on a paper plate so I can slide it easily, then remove it when Im ready to blend. I love it! And with funds low these days, I am only paying $15/mo X 6 mo to pay for it. I’ve been really happy with this Ninja blender overall. The pitcher has plenty of capacity for smoothies and larger batches, and the motor handles everything I’ve made without an issue. The Auto-iQ programs are also convenient and easy to use. The pitcher and lid fit securely, and the overall design feels sturdy and well made. My only real complaint is cleaning the blades. I hand wash mine, and getting all the residue out from around the blades (even after rinsing and soaking) can be difficult without getting too close to the sharp edges. If you’re also someone who prefers hand washing, please be very careful with your fingers when cleaning the blade assembly. This think is a beast. You turn this on and it feels like a jet engine is grinding your fruit (in into tiny little pieces (in a; very good way.) I have one of the smaller Ninja blenders which works like a champ. I just wanted more capacity and this Ninja delivers more power with ease. There are 4 buttons which is all it needs. The blade is slick and reminds me of a dozen ninjas swinging their blades to dice fruit into a godzillion pieces. Blueberrys blend up into tiny, tiny little pieces and I no longer have to strain them. The sound is a bit loud but it takes less than a minute to pulverize fruit into microscopic pieces. This thing is a beast, especially considering it’s only $90. I’m a 33 year old guy who historically has had very little use for a blender. The one in my apartment was probably passed down from sometime in the 1990s. I used it maybe once or twice a year, and while it technically worked, you practically needed hearing protection to make a smoothie. I’ve been trying to make healthier choices lately, so I figured I’d finally buy a decent blender for smoothies and protein shakes. I spent only $90 on this Ninja and apparently blender technology has come a long way. First off, it’s surprisingly not that loud considering how powerful it is. And those blades are no joke. Looking at them immediately made me think of every horror movie scene involving someone sticking their hand into a garbage disposal. 😅 They’re ridiculously sharp and this thing absolutely rips. My first protein shake had frozen strawberries, banana, milk, and protein powder. It came out awesome. Not a single chunk of fruit left behind, everything was completely blended, and the consistency was smooth from top to bottom. Maybe I’m easily impressed because my previous blender belonged in a museum, but for only $90, I’m seriously impressed. It feels like a lot of blender for the money, and if making smoothies is what finally gets me to eat healthier, I’ll take it. ... show more
