I have an older model without the electric start. This blower is a beast once you get it started. The problem getting it started is the priming pump. I have to pump it 15 or 20 times. If you listen closely, you can hear the pump sucking air. Kept pumping until you hear the gas flowing. once the gas gets to the carburetor it will start and you'll be happy with the performance. Customer service is a very immersive experience where emails go unanswered, phone calls achieve enlightenment in voicemail, and the only confirmed way to get a response is to file with the BBB. The current solution is for me to transport this extremely large, extremely heavy, non-working unit to a service center they will not actually identify. I do not own a truck, trailer, or a team of professional movers, so that part of the warranty process is going great. I also purchased the 3-year protection plan, which pairs beautifully with a machine that has not worked for a single day of the first winter. Small Business Note I was asked for patience because this is a “small business,” which is impressive for a company that: • Sells across the U.S. and Canada • Had no trouble charging my card immediately • Ships large equipment nationwide I truly support small businesses. I just didn’t realize I would also be providing my own customer service, transportation, and storage. Absolute garbage. Wouldn't work. Customer service was a nightmare. 3 times they told me they would call me back and never did. I get to talk to someone who seemed to act like i was truly bothering them, but they said they would have it repaired if I take it to someone. Great! I drive over an hour round trip to their "specialist", a kind old man in his garage behind his house.... Week after week I wait, shoveling multiple storms. Do i get a snowblower? No!! They had the repair man send it back to them insted! and told me they didn't have a replacement. 2 weeks later magically that have them again and the price went up! Be careful with this company.
