I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed — but it’s been an absolute game-changer for our household. It’s so efficient. It picks up every crumb, hair, speck of dust (and yes, even dried bits of Play-Doh) without missing a beat. And with multiple girls in the house, plus kids — the floor used to be a mess by the end of the day. Not anymore. 🙌 One of the best features? It’s quiet. Like, whisper quiet. I can schedule it to clean at night while everyone’s sleeping, and it doesn’t bang into walls, doors, or furniture. It slows down before approaching obstacles, which is such a thoughtful design detail that makes a big difference — especially when you have a light sleeper. Setup was a breeze — I thought I’d have to move furniture or prep the whole house for mapping, but it figured it out on its own. Within minutes, it had created a smart map and I could customize cleaning routines for each room right from the app. I love being able to schedule my daughter’s room for daytime cleaning and the rest of the house at night — and the fact that it auto-empties itself? Setting up this iRobot with the Auto Empty was fast and easy. Only thing you have to watch out for during setup is that it is only compatible with 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. Other than that, it should only take a few minutes to detect and connect, followed by charging before it's first run. Mapping my 1400sf home only took a few minutes and it was ready to start it's first vacuum job. The app is pretty simple to use and lets you edit the room names and allows you to merge the rooms into one in case you want to schedule a couple of adjacent rooms to vacuum per job. The iRobot is relatively quiet unless you're in the same room with it. The only part that is really loud is when it docks and the Auto Empty feature kicks in. But it is loud for a reason, very strong suction to get all the dust out from the small dustbin. If you've never had the Auto Empty before, it is a game change because it holds quite a bit before you have to dump it out. Overall, works very well without any problems. A small setback is the battery being a little too small, the iRobot had to dock itself a few times to recharge before completing the job and my home is only 1400sf. It wont be a problem at all if I schedule it during the hours that I'm not home so I won't have to see it running around on and off for a few hours. ... show more

    • Smart, Hands-Free Cleaning That Just Works
I’ve been using the Roomba 105 Combo Robot for a few weeks and it’s been a huge time-saver. Setup was simple, and within minutes, it started mapping my home and cleaning efficiently. The lidar navigation is very precise. It avoids obstacles, navigates cleanly around furniture, and doesn’t wander aimlessly. I love being able to set no-go zones in the app—it’s great for avoiding pet areas or delicate rugs. The vacuum works well on both carpet and hard floors, picking up dust, crumbs, and hair easily. The mop feature adds a nice finishing touch, especially with the SmartScrub setting that targets high-traffic areas. One of the best features is the AutoEmpty dock. Not having to empty the bin every day is a big plus, and it’s quieter than I expected. Overall, this robot delivers smart features and solid cleaning at a great price. If you want a reliable vacuum and mop combo that requires minimal maintenance, the Roomba 105 is a great buy. ... show more

    • The worst! My Shark (years older and no AI), is smarter!
iRobot was the first of its kind back in the day...I purchased the first one they put out. This one seems to do okay on flat floors. Its app is terrible though - they need help developing it. its not easy to use - clunky. Then when you're trying to control the unit - not so easy. Also, its sound is too low - I can't hear what she says (volume is 100%! and I have great hearing) ! it doesn't enunciate and is rather frustrating to interpret. I had to change my rating to 1 (from a 3)! I've spent more time with it and found I don't like it at all! I've placed a barrier between one room and another and it insists on trying to cross that barrier...over...and over. WHY?? The app is terrible...I can't edit the map, can't easily control the robot...can hardly perform any action with it. I decide to put the pet protection on - that was a mistake...the app is useless! Its (the app) cumbersome to use and basically worthless. I had a dumb Shark in its place from nearly 10 years ago...I want it back! Its a horrific unit - getting stuck on the very same spots over and over again - even though its not supposed to even be there. I have a roborock and it is nearly perfect in comparison. I can't stand this embarrassing unit. I'm replacing it! I wouldn't even give this thing away! Its a menace. I will never buy anything from this company...which is sad...my first was an iRobot. ... show more
