This is a great printer for labels. It's super fast, easy to set up and easy to work with. At first I was struggling to set up on my computer, I was actually overthinkin it. My husband watch youtube and was able to set it up on my phone and said it was actually easy and computer just might not be compatible. It's easier to print on the phone anyway. I needed a label printer for my shipping business and ordered this one, it is the easiest thing to use. I think I’ve ever owned. I do it right from my phone and literally at print in one second. I printed small, thank you labels, 100 of them in less than one minute. Very quick. I’m not sure if it’s the label or the machine. It does skip when you’re printing a whole lot of them, it will skip a label here and there and not print on it but other than that, it is perfect. ... show more

Jay Fray delivering the blunt truth about this Rongta thermal shipping label printer that completely fails to provide reliable printing making shipping operations impossible! Purchased this Rongta thermal shipping label printer expecting dependable label printing for shipping Card Burrow baseball card sales and construction documentation. The printer fails catastrophically representing yet another Rongta product that doesn’t work. Print quality proves absolutely terrible with labels that either won’t print at all, produce unreadable faded output, or create completely black pages from heat malfunction. Shipping labels must scan properly - this printer can’t produce usable labels. Connectivity reliability is nonexistent with the printer failing to maintain stable connection to computers, constantly dropping during print jobs, or simply refusing to communicate with devices despite troubleshooting attempts. Paper feed mechanism fails consistently with labels jamming constantly, feeding crooked causing misaligned unusable printing, or refusing to advance properly wasting expensive thermal label stock. Driver and software compatibility creates endless frustration with installation failures, incompatibility with eBay or shipping platforms, or configuration so problematic it prevents basic label printing functionality. Build quality feels embarrassingly cheap with flimsy construction that won’t survive shipping department use. The printer appears ready to break from normal handling. This represents another Rongta printer failure after previous disappointments with their products. The pattern of unreliable Rongta printers suggests systematic quality problems across their product line. Print speed disappoints significantly when the printer actually works, creating shipping bottlenecks during order fulfillment periods requiring efficient label production.     • A Little Setup Frustration, But Worth It for the Price
I just purchased this printer and successfully printed my first label. Before buying, I read the other reviews mentioning concerns about the software download, missing USB drive, missing parts, Bluetooth issues, and setup problems, so I knew there was a chance it might take some troubleshooting. Yes, the instructions are terrible. I’m pretty tech-savvy, and even for me, the setup was more frustrating than it should have been. The manual said a USB disk was included, but mine did not come with one. I first tried connecting through Bluetooth, and while my PC’s Bluetooth dongle could detect the printer, it kept showing “driver not available.” After some digging, I found the available drivers and tried installing a few different options, but it still wasn’t working. Eventually, I scrolled further down and found the “Bartender Driver_11.4.1” file. I was hesitant to download it at first, but once I did, I was able to follow the manual’s steps and connect the printer to my PC through Bluetooth without using the USB cable or downloading the Rongta software. Once it was finally set up, it printed flawlessly. I printed directly from Adobe, and the label came out with perfect resolution. So yes, the setup was definitely a pain, and the instructions could be much better. But for the price, I’m honestly happy with it and would recommend it again, especially if you’re comfortable troubleshooting tech issues. ... show more

I’ve been using this Rongta thermal shipping label printer for about two and a half months, and I can honestly say I love it. The setup was very easy — I had no issues connecting it to my laptop, and from day one it worked smoothly. The print quality is excellent, very clear and sharp, which is extremely important for shipping labels. It’s also fast, reliable, and I haven’t experienced any errors or interruptions at all. I own another thermal printer from a very popular brand, and after using this one, I can confidently say that this Rongta printer outperforms it by far in terms of speed, reliability, and overall performance. I personally use it connected by cable, not Bluetooth. I can’t speak to the Bluetooth performance, but if you’re running a business and plan to use it wired, I wouldn’t hesitate at all — this is a perfect option.
