The media could not be loaded. I was originally going to get a more expensive brand but came across Rongtas version of the same type of thermal printer but way less $. I’m very glad I decided to get this one instead. It does everything the other one did but saved me money. It is super easy to set up, the print quality is perfect and it prints so stinking fast! The app is easy to use and has a ton of different pre loaded icons, borders, and other design elements, including forms. I highly recommend. Jay Fray delivering the blunt truth about this Rongta shipping thermal label printer that completely fails to provide reliable printing for shipping operations! Purchased this Rongta thermal shipping label printer expecting dependable label printing for shipping Card Burrow baseball card sales through eBay and managing construction documentation. The printer fails catastrophically with performance so poor it’s essentially unusable. Print quality proves absolutely terrible with labels that either print too faint making barcodes unscannable by carriers, completely black from heat malfunction, or producing inconsistent output that looks unprofessional and risks shipping delays. Connectivity reliability is nonexistent with the printer either failing to connect to computers properly, dropping connection randomly mid-print job, or requiring constant driver reinstallation and troubleshooting making consistent label printing impossible. Paper feed mechanism proves completely unreliable with labels jamming constantly, feeding crooked causing misaligned printing, or skipping labels wasting expensive thermal paper during attempted print jobs. Software and driver compatibility creates endless frustration with installation problems, printing errors from eBay or shipping platforms, or configuration so complicated it prevents straightforward label printing workflow. Build quality feels extremely cheap with flimsy plastic construction that won’t survive shipping department handling. The printer appears ready to break from normal use creating replacement costs that eliminate any initial savings. Print speed disappoints significantly with slow label production creating shipping bottlenecks during busy periods when efficient order fulfillment requires fast reliable label printing. Value for the money is excellent. Was a little hard to set up, but my son did it pretty quickly. Easy to use and my 4x6 labels fit in it perfectly. Prints quickly and the quality of the print is very good.

Update: user error lol prints great, updated from 2 to 5 stars Easy to set up and use but print quality is horrible. Seems to be especially bad when you rotate the image but most 4x6 labels require you to rotate it.

This printer is extremely unreliable. It jams constantly, the print quality is blurry, and it often loses connection to my computer. It’s slow and frustrating to use—total waste of money.
