This was a nightmare to install and it would never print a label correctly. The Driver installation wizard did not include the drivers for this printer RP425 I eventually found the drivers for RP425 on the Rongta website and through a roundabout process got the printer installed. I was never able to get labels to print correctly. I use printer set up and printer properties to ensure I had 4x6 labels but could not get it line the labels up correctly or if I used the "actual size" or "fit page" options it printed a postage stamp sized image on the lable. Overall...terrible and no support from Rongta when I tried their chat function.

I’m very satisfied with this Rongta Bluetooth shipping label printer. When I first got it, there was a glitch where it would sometimes print across my labels incorrectly. I reached out to customer support and they helped me quickly. Updating the printer’s software resolved the issue and their response was fast and professional. The printer itself works really well. It prints extremely fast which makes processing multiple labels much easier. I also like that it makes a subtle audible noise when printing. It is actually helpful if you are busy or have a visual impairment because it signals when a labels are out. It comes with a few labels to test out right away which is nice. The app is straightforward and easy to use, but the one downside is that it requires location access to function. I find that intrusive but it does not ruin the experience. Overall, this printer is reliable, fast, and comes with excellent customer support. I am happy with my purchase.

I have been wanting a thermal printer for a while and decided to give this one a try. I was surprised at the size when i opened the box. I know thermal printers are not huge, but this little guy is pretty compact, which is a plus. The listing picture states the dimensions are 10.2"Wide x 7.4" Deep x 5.3" Tall, but the dimensions of the printer are actually 7"Wide x 3" Deep x 2.5" Tall, so it is quite a bit smaller than the stated dimensions. It can print a wide variety of labels from large shipping labels (4x6") all the way down to tiny labels for barcodes, addresses, etc. I have used it so far with a 4x6" shipping label, a 2x2" circle label (pictured) and a 1x2" rectangular label. All were quick to load and the printer did a good job of lining everything up and correctly dispensing them at the tear line. The small size makes it easy to stow away when not needed. I would suggest getting a roll dispenser since this printer does not come with one, and will jam if you are not watching the slack on the roll feeding into it. The print speed is also a plus as it spits out stickers and labels almost as fast as you hit print. The android/iOS app is easy to download and use, and is the easiest way to get the printer up and running fast. The PC part on the other hand gave me a few problems. I first tried to install the software that they mention (BarTender), and it ended up installing a lot of SQL server stuff on my PC and the program that I installed never would open after installation. It kept popping up an error about licensing service running in another instance, but there was nothing else running in task manager. I think that piece of software is for a larger enterprise type setup anyway, so I gave up on that and after some searching I found (also on the manufacturer's website) a small program called LabelDesigner that is free. I installed that and was able to print labels from my computer as well, but that program leaves some to be desired. The mobile apps are definitely more user friendly and easy to use than the pc apps. Software aside, the actual printer is fast, compact, and convenient. It would be good for printing stickers, address labels, shipping labels, barcodes, or anything that you want to put on a label. The prints that I have done have been clean, with no defects. I am mainly using it for shipping labels and barcodes, and a few fun things here and there. Using it with your phone is the easiest and fastest way in my opinion, but I will be using it with both my phone and PC depending on the task. Overall, I think this printer is a great addition to any home or office that needs to be able to print individual labels on the fly. It also comes with a sample pack of 4x6 labels to get you started. I think this printer is a decent value for the money, and am happy with its performance. Also, I saw plenty of places where a support number was located on the printer and in the documentation in case you run into any issues. I did not need to contact them for anything, but it seems to be readily available should you need it.

I absolutely love this little thermal printer -- I have used a few different kinds of these thermal printers and this one is honestly the best (and, coincidentally the cheapest @ 29.99 at the time of this review!) I love it for a few reasons: 1) It's not rechargeable, unpopular opinion, but I love this feature! I can just plug this guy in and leave it. I hate cords as much as the next girl, but I hate rechargeable batteries on inexpensive electronic devices more. I have faith I'll be bequeathing this printer to my grandkids, because there are no batteries to fail that would end up bricking this device. 2) I can plug this into my laptop, directly, and simply install a printer driver to use it just like any other printer. Amazing. No app. Lower chance of spyware. Less hardware bloat to slow my devices down. I can't believe how rare this is getting. 3) it just prints 4x6 labels (or thermal paper). I like having a single-user device for label printing. Especially bc this is so small, I can tuck it away until I need to use is, and then can quickly print 30 labels in a minute or two. I appreciate that it has one job, and does it -- no nonsense. Now, what I don't like. IT BEEPS NON-STOP IF THE PRINTER IS ON AND OUT OF PAPER...... WHYYYYYYYYYY? I'M NOT EVEN TRYING TO PRINT?!?! I guess this will help me remember to turn this guy off when I'm not using it, but I do hate this feature. Not enough to knock off a star, but enough to mention it because it is very annoying. Overall, great little printer and a great price.
