  • Convenient, Well‑Made, and an Exceptional Entertainment Experience
With so many options out there, I spent a lot of time researching what I actually wanted in a pair of AR glasses. I wanted to share an honest, real‑world opinion from a practical standpoint. Carry Case The carry case is surprisingly well made. It’s large enough to hold everything you need—minus peripherals like a keyboard or mouse—yet still compact enough to travel with easily. The interior is designed so that everything stays secure and protected from bumps or scratches. The Glasses The glasses themselves were true plug‑and‑play with my Galaxy Ultra. No issues at all. I love how seamlessly they work with the phone—the phone basically becomes a touchpad, which feels natural and intuitive. While you can technically wear them while walking around, I don’t really see that being a good idea, especially while in use. The screen size, brightness, and overall quality are genuinely impressive. The only challenge I ran into was not being able to see the entire screen at once when it’s set to the largest “theater” size. Maybe I just haven’t found the perfect viewing angle yet, but I do have to scale it down slightly. Even then, the screen is still huge and very enjoyable. I like where the cable connects on the arm—it keeps the cord out of the way. The built‑in speakers are better than I expected and perfectly fine for general use or quiet environments. For an action movie, though, I preferred using my Galaxy Buds for a more immersive experience. That’s just personal preference; the speakers themselves are solid. Fit‑wise, they’re comfortable, and the nose pads are soft. I’m still experimenting to find that perfect sweet spot for both comfort and viewing. The built‑in nearsighted adjustment is a great feature, but I do wish it adjusted into the positive range as well. At the zero setting I could see fine, but once I added prescription inserts, the clarity jumped to a whole new level. If you want the best experience, I highly recommend getting the inserts. Movies look amazing, text is crisp, and while I’m not a gamer, I can easily imagine these being fantastic for anyone wanting a giant virtual screen. Max Station 2 The Max Station 2 is basically a portable Android computer, and I love that it gives you full Android functionality without needing to use your phone or tablet. It’s compact, fits neatly in the case, and keeps everything organized. It offers so many features that there’s really not much to complain about. Being able to have three screens open at once is awesome. The only two things I’d love to see added are: A simple minimize/maximize button for windows A forward/back navigation option in case you back out of a page by accident Other than that, it’s a must‑have in my opinion. Battery Battery life seems strong, and if I ever run it down too far, I’d just carry a portable battery pack. Overall Value For the price, the entire package does a lot. Cons (Based on My Experience) I couldn’t get the glasses to work with my computer using a USB‑C to USB‑A adapter. It may work fine on newer computers with native USB‑C ports. It would be great if the optics adjusted both negatively and positively without needing prescription inserts. File transfers to the Station had to be done wirelessly. Direct transfer via external storage would be a nice option. When plugged into my phone, I couldn’t get audio to play through the built‑in speakers. Maybe there’s a setting I missed, but I couldn’t find it. Bluetooth earbuds worked fine. Final Thoughts Even with a few things that could be improved, I really love these AR glasses. My wife fell asleep next to me, and I was able to watch an action movie without disturbing her—on a screen larger than our 70" TV. As long as they hold up over time, I’m very happy with my purchase. I missed the sale price, but what can you do. I hope this review helps if you’re considering the Rokid AR Spatial Video Glasses with the Station 2. ... show more

  • Pretty darn great with some caveats but that's covered in the review =)
Big screen in a non face covering way which is a plus for actually wearing this out in public. Super clear, I was shocked. Those are the pros. The minuses hmm they are small but I would very much like if there were some positive adjustment instead of only negative adjustment for nearsighted. Like, as you get older most people become farsighted and seeing the near is the hard part and these have no positive adjustment at all. Luckily I'm right borderline for these so they doable and very clear but yeah there's some eye strain after a time in one eye. But that's just me and not the product. Maybe they could sell a lens attachment that gives an extra +1 or +2 that would essentially be like a glass screen protector on the inner lens that faces the eyeball? Like corrective glasses lol. One other neg is the screen pushes right up on the viewing angle so if you are using the entirety of the screen then you'll probably get an obstructed bottom edge or top edge depending on how you wear them but it's very slight and not really an issue. This technology is really incredible, I would not have thought possible in something so small. OHHH If you're still reading, the best part I forgot is the colors! They are sooooo good. This oled is amazing with the color vibrancy and absolutely no screen door effect. Oh darn Ok I just remembered a negative with the station 2 after the latest firmware update. I cannot find the station 2 on any of my many devices to wirelessly screen-cast to it. This mean no external view using multi monitor - wireless to the device when using the station2 which is a pretty major feature that's not working even after a full factory reset and setting up again. I have my fingers crossed that they will fix the issue though hopefully on a next update? Anyway yeah it's a great product. Good battery life on the station2 also. I use 24 pin usb magnetic dongle attachments to quickly reattach cables and it works perfectly. That's a third party product though. ... show more

  • Good until it stop working SMH
Quality it good, display is okay as well. Great deal with the Rokid Max and Station 2 devices compared to the Other AR glasses combo deal. But it stop work recently. Turn on my Station 2 and my Rokid Max didn't even come on. Didn't even show the Rokid logo, just a black screen. The Station 2 stay on for a while then cut off. Totally waste if money. Don't get this AR glasses, go with the Viture Beast or Ray Neo Air 4 glasses. ... show more

  • This is worth every penny. Awesome product.
These are by far the best on the market. They have perfect picture and very responsive user interface. Battery life last me 3 movies so no complaints there. This is worth every penny. You can always return it if it does not meet your expectations. I can tell you now you won't want to return.

  • Good ... not $500 good
The glasses are ok. It's not impressive, you can tell you're looking at tiny screens. I think the tech is cool and why so many people like them, but you're not going to feel immersed in entertainment. On that note, the station 2 is trash. You can't watch any streaming apps, you can't even watch Netflix using the chrome web browser. Just get the glasses and use your phone, but you'll lose out on the "300" inch screen. ... show more

  • Great AI Glass
I love this glass and I recommend to everyone

  • What’s not to love?!
Definitely by far one of my most favorite AR glasses. To the uneducated folks who reviewed and claimed they worked in tech for decades, I’m ashamed for you! Claiming these aren’t AR and how you know the difference. Obviously you’ve never owned a pair prior, nor understand the tech. You obviously also didn’t buy the joy or station to unlock those features as they aren’t available without them. It actually tells you that. That’s with literally ALL AR glasses. Our phones don’t have the processing power, nor software ability which is why you need the additional systems. Writing such negative reviews when you obviously don’t understand the tech but claiming to is just shameful. As for me, these are fantastic! I’d give it 5 stars, but there’s some minor flaws leaving this just shy of being perfect. 3dof, a little blur in the bottom right that could easily be fixed if moved just slightly left, and could use some UI / software updates. A nice refresh would be great! The hub is also unusable on the switch 2 natively without the base, but this too could be fixed with an update to the hub’s firmware should they decide to do so. Regardless, this is a great product and I’d highly recommend it! The quality is highly exceptional, the sound is immersive, and the fit is very comfortable. If you want a great AR option, this is it! ... show more

  • Amazing Platform - Still Needs Work
This was my second venture into an AR/VR. My first was a Meta Quest 2 which was a disappointment from the start. Before my purchase of the Rokid glasses, I watched every video on YouTube I could find. I was impressed by all the reviews and was prepared to really like the system. Well the Max2 Glasses arrived along with the Station2. I spent about 2 weeks working with the hardware and software. At first it was a negative impression. The eye adjustment was a stop short of perfect for my eyes. The images were just close to being sharp but just short of being so. My final decision to return the glasses and station was that even though I was able to connect a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to the glasses, I could not get them to connect after that. I also tried to connect my Samsung earplugs (I found the volume too low coming from the frames). Could not get the glasses to find that Bluetooth device either. So today, with much sadness, the Rokid system was returned to Amazon. The system is amazing. However not worth dealing with the glitches and short comings. ... show more
