Rokid AR Spatial Glasses kit, The AR Glasses is same as Rokid max Glasses with a upgrade. The Rokid Max2 glasses work well just work well by it self. The Spatial device is disappearing. It lock to a chinese market. Not all app work with the device. You have Google play store, but the app you download will not work. If you have a samsung phone is the best used with the glasses.

Janky, Unreliable, and Totally Unusable with Major Android Devices – Avoid. Product Purchased: Rokid Max 2 AR Glasses and Rokid Station 2 I purchased this product with high hopes based on some YouTube reviews, but the real-world experience was deeply disappointing and frustrating. This is not a "plug and play" device; it is an unpolished, janky system that fails on multiple fundamental levels. Technical Failures (Did NOT Work With): Phone Compatibility: It absolutely did not work with my Pixel 7 Pro. Tablet Compatibility: It absolutely did not work with my Samsung S10 tablet. Language Support: The system failed to function reliably with different language settings. Core App Access (The Biggest Issue): It DOES NOT provide access to the standard Google Play Store. This means you are locked into a proprietary, non-functional ecosystem. I could not download any necessary apps to make the glasses work correctly, nor could I download any artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The device, therefore, offered zero access to AI or any extended functionality. Camera Failure: The camera functionality was completely unusable. Customer Support & Quality Issues: Support: When attempting to call the customer support number for help, I was only routed to an answering machine. This lack of live support is unacceptable for a complex and expensive piece of technology, suggesting a major commitment gap from the company. Quality: This device is being advertised as a quality Augmented Reality (AR) experience, but it is anything but. It feels underdeveloped, or, as others have rightly stated, "janky." It is not a flushed-out system and is far from the seamless, high-quality experience users expect from modern tech. Word to the wise: Save your time and money. This is snake oil. Meta Displays have too long a wait, so I went with Rokid AR Spatial. This was a great buy, so may uses. I was amazed at the brightness and the picture quality. I’ve gone days without my TV unplugged as the Rokid AR Soatial provides me a roaming TV so I don’t need to miss or pause a show.

Minor quibbles - screen drift doesn’t stay centered, I ordered prescription glasses with astigmatism correction but there is still a perceptible blur at the edges, implementation based on android OS has its limitations, high fan noise from handheld unit, glasses heat up and can cause dry eyes or other issues if you don’t remember to blink, not sure if these are okay for sessions longer than an hour or two. Despite all this, these can be a very cool tech gift!

I'm a fan of the Rokkid glasses, however am in-between the handheld ar spatial device. When laying down there is some UI drift that occurs where eventual you'll lose visibility of the controls. I only use these at night in bed laying down to watch movies mostly. The sound is great. I haven't done any steam link or moonlight game streaming yet. The glasses work amazing with samsung dex. Although the latest DEX version is going down hill. No keyboard support, no fault of Rokkid, just an FYI. I dislike the nose pads, the glasses can feel a bit heavy after awhile. There's got to be a better way to distribute the weight instead of creating two intense pressure points on the bridge of your nose. Overall I'm happy with the glasses. The media device is definitely a bonus for when my phone isn't fully charged but I would not pay $600 for this combo again. I'd wait till price drops. I wouldn't pay more then $350 for the combo
