The speakers have lots of weirs so u can place them anywhere if u don’t use the Center speaker to 00 and the sound will come out of the sub wofer but u will have to buy a optical wire for share by enough, but overall it’s worth money

I've had these speakers for a few months and I do like them. They sound good and they were easy to set up. My only complaint is, after a few weeks my speakers started humming. I contacted customer service and they said I could send them back. A few days later the humming stopped so I didn't send them back but I should have, the humming is back, now I'm stuck with the speaker which is my fault. I should have exchanged them. ... show more

I've had these speakers for 9 months and I have no issues with them. They are decent quality and a good value for the money. However, to connect them to a PC, you may need a couple of Y-connectors. My PC only has 3 outputs for speakers. Still, they sound great!

Don't believe the glowing reviews of the sound quality. It is pretty poor. If your are looking for a home Theater System to put in a bathroom or closet, then this is the one! A sound bar is louder and clearer. Very disappointing. Returned them both. Went to Best Buy. FYI the two Rockville Audio Home Theater systems are manufactured by the same manufacturer as the Bobtot Home Theater Systems. Both panels are exactly the same as are the remote controls. Rockville Audio had better instructions and self help. Rockville techs are good too (if you can get one on the phone!) Bobtot only has help via Email! Takes forever to get answers, and usually the answer is in broken english and has nothing to do with the question! But, when all is said and done, both systems are just sub-par. It's too bad, because Rockville Audio makes some pretty good products. This just isn't one of them! ... show more

    • IT'S OK FOR THE PRICE
On a positive note, I love the design and look when installed around the area. The audio is clear and crisp and fills a room nicely. However, it doesn't seem to be a 600w system, the bass speaker is more than capable of hitting low tones, but the unit is pushing only 60W at best. It sounds like a mid range system. There are no bass or treble controls and the equalizer control doesn't even work. Each time you turn the speakers on be prepared for a loud pop from the bass speaker because the darn thing always starts at a volume of 45 no matter how many times you turn it down. And the main reason it's a poor choice is the surround sound 5.1 doesn't work only left and right stereo which does work very well. Over all, it's got the looks and style for a mean sound system, but not the juice. ... show more

I received the Rockville speaker sound system today. I got them for my desk top computer And I am extremely happy with them. I got the 800 watt set and they sound amazing and extremely loud and crystal clear even at full volume. Set up was a breeze. the bass is great and the sound is really good. I am using the blue tooth mode and when playing games the surround sound works great. If I hear shots from the right or left or behind or in front I can here which direction the shots are coming from. again its not a $1000.00 or better but if your looking for a good sound system and do not want to break the bank I would highly recommend this system it also has extra features if you whish to hook up to other systems if you want for better affects but I prefer Blue tooth. ... show more
